NAVSANKALP CONDUCTS ANNUAL VISIT TO VARIOUS SCHOOLS FOR SPECIALLY-ABLED
NavSankalp Association, conducted it’s 3 day annual visit ,from 11th Feb to 13th Feb, 2020, to various schools for the specially abled, located in Chandigarh.
On Day 1, NavSankalp visited Vatika School for Deaf and Dumb, Sector-19B, and interacted with the students and learnt the sign language. Vatika students introduced a new way to play hopscotch. The day ended with a friendly basketball match between Sankalpians and Vatika High Students.
On Day 2, at SOREM School, Sector 36C, Mrs. Sangeeta Jain (Vice Principal) interacted with the members of NavSankalp and explained how the school is working on educating the children having mental disorders like Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Down syndrome and gave a tour of the school. The tour included the exhibition of handmade product and preparation of Holi colours by the students of SOREM.
The event ended with a visit to Institute for Blind, Sector 26, on day 3. During the visit the members of the organization got an opportunity to learn Braille lipi. The students of the institute showcased their singing talents and sang songs.

Navsankalp association is a student run charitable organisation based in tri-city(Chandigarh) which provides medical aid to the critically ill children below the age of 17, admitted in PGIMER and GMSH-16. Till date NavSankalp has contributed 67 lacs and has saved 181 lives.
