AAROGYA VATIKA INAUGURATED

It was a special day for the Principal students and staff of GGMSSS18 CHANDIGARH today as Sh. Anurag Agarwal, IAS, Hon’ble Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration inaugurated the Aarogya Vatika, prepared by the members of Cassia Eco Club of the school. A green house has also been made to grow and culture plants and these plants will be distributed among the students of the school on various occasions.

Mrs Raj Bala the Principal of the school welcomed the distinguished guests present on the occasion which included Sh. Santosh Kumar, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forest and Director Science and Technology ,Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, PCS, (Director School Education (Schools)), Mrs Rajinder Kaur (D .E.O) and Principals of various schools.

A short Cultural program highlighting the importance of plants and trees was presented by students of the school.

The Chief Guest Sh. Anurag Agarwal,IAS, addressed the students and his encouraging words motivated the students to do selfless service towards the community. Plants were gifted to the Chief Guest other Guest and among the students who participated in the show.
