Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini said that Ayurveda remains the most sustainable system of care for managing lifestyle-related diseases arising from modern living, including stress, diabetes and hypertension. He said Ayurveda ensures a holistic balance of physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Shri Dhanwantri Ayurvedic College and Hospital in Chandigarh on Tuesday. On this occasion, he inaugurated a newly constructed academic block, released a scientific journal and honoured dignitaries associated with the institution. He also congratulated BAMS students for their excellent examination results.
Strengthening AYUSH through modernisation and research
The Chief Minister said the Haryana Government is continuously strengthening the AYUSH sector by upgrading infrastructure in Ayurvedic institutions, promoting research, and expanding opportunities for practitioners. He said Shri Krishna AYUSH University has been established in Kurukshetra at a cost of around Rs. 500 crore, with the college affiliated to it.
He informed that AYUSH wings have been set up in all districts under the National Health Mission, with yoga experts appointed to strengthen preventive healthcare. For expanding AYUSH services at the grassroots level, 572 AYUSH medical officers have been recruited. So far, 400 Ayurvedic dispensaries and 138 sub-health centres have been upgraded into Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AYUSH), while Panchakarma centres are being established in every district.
He further said that the construction of Baba Khetanath Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital at Patikara (Narnaul) has been completed, while several AYUSH institutions and hospitals in Nuh, Ambala, Hisar and Panchkula are at various stages of construction and development.
Highlighting the global recognition of yoga, the Chief Minister said its worldwide acceptance is largely due to the efforts of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, under whose initiative June 21 was declared International Yoga Day. He added that the state government is committed to promoting yoga in rural areas through the establishment of yoga and Vyayamshalas in 6,500 villages. So far, 965 Vyayamshalas have become operational and work is underway on 139 more.
Addressing students, the Chief Minister said they are the future of Ayurveda and must carry forward this ancient system of knowledge while adapting it to modern requirements through innovation, dedication and research-driven advancement.

Rs. 5 crore announced for rural development in the region
Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday made a series of important announcements related to health, roads, and agriculture for the Tosham constituency during the Unnat Sinchai Utsav-2026 held in Tosham, Bhiwani.
The Chief Minister said that the existing 50-bed hospital in Tosham will be upgraded to a 100-bed facility after a feasibility assessment. In village Dinod, under the Swarn Jayanti Mahagram Yojana, a sewage system and water supply expansion project will be taken up. Upon provision of land by the Panchayat, a STP will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 97.96 crore. He also announced an additional Rs. 5 crore specifically for development works in rural areas of the constituency.
He further announced the construction of a new building for the BDPO office in Tosham. Additionally, a 33 kV sub-station will be set up in village Mansarbass, subject to land being provided by the Panchayat. Mini sports stadiums will also be developed in villages as desired by Cabinet Minister Smt. Shruti Choudhry.
The Chief Minister also announced the early introduction of the Science stream in the government college at Kairu, repair of sheds in Tosham grain market, and construction of a new Market Committee office. He added that similar shed and office construction works will be undertaken in the grain market of Jui.
On road infrastructure, he said that around 22.14 km of roads under Market Committee jurisdiction, including Mandhan to Rodha, Mandhan to Devawas, Mandhan to Isarwal, Khava to Rodha, Rodha to Sahlewala, and Malwas to Kohar—will be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs. 11 crore.
Similarly, under the Public Works Department, several roads will be renovated and widened. These include Bijlanwas to Kundal, Mansarwas link road, Golpura road extensions, Golagarh link road, Lahlana to Golpura, Devsar School link road, Hansi–Tosham road to Kirawar routes, Patodi to Sandwa, and several others covering about 61 km across 19 roads. This will cost approximately Rs. 56.40 crore.
In addition, 170 km of 42 roads will be repaired at a cost of Rs. 95 crore. He also announced repair works for 13 Market Committee roads in the Tosham-Bhiwani area, covering 47.37 km.
The Chief Minister further announced the construction of pucca roads for 25 km of rural farm-to-field link roads in the Tosham constituency, along with maintenance work for 23 other roads in the region.
Nayab Singh Saini said the government has formulated several welfare schemes for all sections of society and is implementing them with full transparency. He assured that no effort will be spared in the development of the Bhiwani region.

Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini said that while Congress election promises during its regime were never implemented and remained confined to announcements that “ended up in dustbins,” the BJP-led double-engine government since 2014 has ensured that every election Sankalp is being fulfilled on the ground in a time-bound, transparent and accountable manner. He said the present government is not a promise-making administration but a delivery-oriented governance model, where every Sankalp is translated into action with commitment and speed.
The Chief Minister was addressing the Unnat Sinchai Utsav–2026 organized at Tosham in Bhiwani district on Tuesday. Upon arrival, he paid floral tributes to former Chief Minister late Chaudhary Bansi Lal and late Chaudhary Surender Singh. He also visited the exhibition on drip irrigation systems set up by the Irrigation Department.

Tosham land symbol of hard work, sacrifice and agricultural transformation- CM
Addressing the gathering, Nayab Singh Saini said that the Tosham region represents a proud tradition of hard work, sacrifice and agriculture-driven prosperity. He said the region has witnessed a remarkable transformation over decades.
Recalling the contribution of former Chief Minister late Chaudhary Bansi Lal and late Chaudhary Surender Singh, he said that at the time of Haryana’s formation, visionary leadership had already laid the foundation of development-oriented governance in the State.
He said Chaudhary Bansi Lal had envisioned greenery in the sandy terrain of Tosham–Loharu region and transformed that vision into reality by developing a world-class lift irrigation canal system nearly five decades ago. As a result, canal water reached this arid region for the first time, bringing a historic transformation in agriculture, drinking water availability, and livelihoods.
BJP government committed to every Sankalp- CM
Nayab Singh Saini said that the mandate for a third consecutive term is not only a matter of pride but also a huge responsibility, reminding the government to work with greater dedication and fulfil every commitment made to the people. He said the government firmly believes in the principle: “What we say, we deliver.”
He informed that out of 217 election commitments (Sankalp) made in the BJP Sankalp Patra, 60 have already been fulfilled within one and a half years, while work on 157 commitments is progressing at a fast pace. He said the government has implemented the guiding principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas” in both letter and spirit.
Comprehensive development across regions ensured- CM
The Chief Minister said that the State Government has formulated and implemented multiple welfare schemes for all sections of society with full transparency. He assured that no stone will be left unturned in the development of the Bhiwani region. He informed that in Tosham Assembly constituency alone, during the last 11.5 years, a total of 283 Chief Minister announcements were made, out of which 258 have been completed, while the remaining are in progress.
Viksit Bharat- 2047 is a people’s movement- CM
Nayab Singh Saini said that Haryana’s development journey is guided by the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. He said the Viksit Bharat- 2047 vision is not merely a target but a mass movement involving every citizen. He said Haryana is committed to contributing significantly towards building a Viksit Bharat through Viksit Haryana. He also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his consistent guidance and leadership in driving national development.
No shortage of petrol, diesel and LPG in Haryana- CM slams Opposition
Referring to recent global circumstances, the Chief Minister said the State Government has taken proactive steps to prevent panic and misinformation. He categorically stated that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel or LPG in Haryana, and sufficient stock is available across 4,032 petrol pumps and LPG agencies in the State.
He said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has also recently reviewed the situation and assured citizens of uninterrupted supply. The State Government fully aligns with this assurance.
Nayab Singh Saini appealed to the public not to fall prey to rumours and misinformation and urged Opposition parties to act responsibly during sensitive situations instead of making misleading statements.
He also informed that strict action is being taken against black marketing, and several FIRs have already been registered.
He further said that gas pipeline expansion has been accelerated after reducing lease rent fromRs. 3 lakh to justRs.1,000, which will help in rapidly providing PNG connections to more than 13 lakh households.
E-Bhoomi portal for Tosham IMT to be opened soon
The Chief Minister announced that the State Government has decided to establish an Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Tosham. He said the E-Bhoomi portal will be opened soon, enabling farmers to voluntarily register their land for the project.
He assured that no farmer will be pressured, and land acquisition will be done in a transparent manner with fair and adequate compensation.
CM targets Congress over unfulfilled election promises
Nayab Singh Saini said that Congress leaders should introspect before making statements, as their election promises in various States remain unfulfilled, while the BJP government continues to deliver on its Sankalp. He said Congress should compare its record with ground realities instead of spreading misinformation. He highlighted the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, under which women are being provided financial assistance ofRs.2,100 per month.
He informed that so far, 9.56 lakh beneficiaries have received Rs.834 crore, and the scheme has been included in the State Budget.
Farmer welfare highest priority- CM
The Chief Minister said that Haryana is procuring all 24 crops at Minimum Support Price (MSP). He informed that so far,Rs.1.64 lakh crore has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of 12 lakh farmers. He said procurement arrangements are fully transparent and streamlined. He added that mustard procurement began on March 28, while wheat procurement will begin from April 1, with full preparedness for the Rabi procurement season.
2500 Patwaris to strengthen revenue system
Nayab Singh Saini said that 2500 trained Patwaris will be deployed across Haryana soon to strengthen land records, revenue administration and farmer-related services. He said he understands farmers’ challenges personally as he comes from a farming background, especially during natural calamities. He informed that over the last 11 years, the State Government has provided Rs. 16,160 crore as compensation and insurance assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
Major agricultural and infrastructure reforms
The Chief Minister announced the creation of Haryana Agri DISCOM, aimed at ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply and timely tube well connections for farmers. He also announced that 1.40 lakh acres of saline and water-affected land will be reclaimed and made cultivable. Special projects are also being implemented to address waterlogging and improve agricultural productivity, he said.
Transparent recruitment ensures youth employment
Nayab Singh Saini said the State Government has ensured merit-based recruitment to youth. He said in Bhiwani district alone, 25,000 youth have been provided employment under the present government. He challenged the previous Congress government to present factual data regarding employment generated during its tenure.
Shruti Choudhry highlights irrigation and legacy reforms
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Irrigation and Water Resources Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry said her father Chaudhary Surender Singh initiated computerisation of land records 21 years ago, marking a major governance reform.
She highlighted Chaudhary Bansi Lal’s contribution in introducing lift irrigation and drip irrigation systems, which transformed agriculture in the region.
She said large-scale canal remodelling worth Rs. 5,700 crore and Ghaggar drain rehabilitation worthRs. 450 crore is underway. She also submitted development demands for Tosham region, which were assured by the Chief Minister.

Government adopts Transparent, Data-Driven Framework for Revision of Collector Rates
The Haryana Government has undertaken the revision of Collector Rates through a well-defined, transparent, and systematic process, aligned with prevailing market values. The exercise, conducted annually, has this year been based on a robust data-driven and rationalized framework.
Divulging more details in this regard an official spokesperson said that the revision is grounded in an analytical assessment of the top 50 percent of property registries across each segment, wherein transaction values exceeded the existing Collector Rates. This methodology ensures that the revised rates more accurately reflect actual market trends.
Elaborating on the framework, the spokesperson shared that the increase in Collector Rates has been structured into graded slabs. No increase has been effected in segments where transaction values ranged between 0 and 20 percent above the Collector Rate. In other segments, the revisions have been applied as follows: 15 percent increase for 20–35 percent variation; 25 percent for 35–70 percent; 30 percent for 70–100 percent; 45 percent for 100–150 percent; 60 percent for 150–200 percent; and up to a maximum of 75 percent in cases exceeding 200 percent variation.
The exercise covered a comprehensive analysis of 160,752 segments across the state. Of these, 68.80 percent (110,607 segments) recorded no increase, falling within the 0–20 percent category. In the remaining segments, increases were applied as follows: 15 percent in 5.72 percent (9,203 segments), 25 percent in 7.82 percent (12,585 segments), 30 percent in 4.03 percent (6,492 segments), 45 percent in 4.01 percent (6,451 segments), 60 percent in 2.15 percent (3,467 segments), and 75 percent in 7.43 percent (11,947 segments).
The spokesperson emphasized that the model has been carefully designed to ensure transparency, balance, and public welfare, while safeguarding citizens from undue financial burden and aligning Collector Rates with realistic market valuations.
The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance transparency in property transactions, effectively curb the circulation of unaccounted money, and facilitate fair and equitable property dealings for citizens.
Reaffirming the Government’s commitment, the spokesperson said that such data-driven and transparent decision-making processes will continue to be prioritized. The Government remains steadfast in its resolve to promote development anchored in integrity, public trust, and a progressive outlook.
CM addresses huge gathering at Tosham Unnat Sinchai Utsav-2026
Inaugurates and lays foundations stone of key development projects worth over Rs. 107 crore
Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, on Tuesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth over Rs. 107 crore during the ‘Tosham Unnat Sinchai Utsav-2026’ held in Tosham, district Bhiwani.
Out of these, projects worth Rs. 13.99 crore were inaugurated, while foundation stones were laid for projects worth Rs. 93.62 crore. These initiatives will play a significant role in strengthening power supply, expanding educational facilities, and improving rural infrastructure in the region.
The projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister include the construction of a 33 KV substation at Bidola, completed at a cost of Rs. 7.12 crore, and a school building at Dhigawa Jattan constructed at a cost of Rs. 6.86 crore. Besides this, among the projects for which foundation stones were laid are a 33 KV substation at Loharu at a cost of Rs. 8.12 crore, a 33 KV substation at Loharu Isharwal at a cost of Rs. 3.19 crore, a 33 KV substation at Bhakra at a cost of Rs. 6.07 crore, and an Aqua Park at village Garwa to be developed at a cost of Rs. 76.24 crore.
Nayab Singh Saini said that the State Government is committed to the holistic development of rural areas and is continuously making efforts to provide better facilities to farmers. He added that these projects will further strengthen power infrastructure, enhance educational facilities, and accelerate the pace of development at the grassroots level.
Grand Statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to be set up in Ambala Cantonment – Energy Minister

Haryana Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, said that a grand statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, will be installed at 12 Cross Road in Ambala Cantonment.
To facilitate the project, the Minister has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 50 lakh from his discretionary fund. The funds have been released to the Municipal Council, Ambala Sadar, and the installation work is expected to commence soon, shared the Minister.
Anil Vij said that the statue will serve as a tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and contributions to the nation. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, a renowned social reformer, distinguished economist, and a champion of social justice. He dedicated his life to eradicating caste-based discrimination and advocated the powerful message: “Educate, Organize, and Agitate.” He also served as India’s first Law Minister.
His key contributions include promoting social equality, safeguarding human rights, and advancing education. Dr. Ambedkar established institutions such as the People’s Education Society to uplift marginalized communities. He earned degrees from Columbia University and the London School of Economics and consistently emphasized constitutional, democratic, and legal methods over violent means to achieve social transformation.

Cooperation, Jails and Tourism Minister, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, reiterating the State Government’s commitment to good governance under the leadership of Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, ordered the suspension of the Sarpanch of Kutbapur village over misappropriation of government funds.
The Cabinet Minister gave these directions while chairing the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee held at Narnaul, on Tuesday. During the meeting a total of 17 complaints were tabled before the Minister. Taking a strict stance, the Minister said the Government follows a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and no one will be spared.
Emphasising the spirit of Antyodaya, he said the Government is committed to ensuring delivery of welfare schemes to the last person and prompt redressal of public grievances. He directed officers to ensure time-bound disposal of complaints and warned that negligence in public service will not be tolerated.
Taking cognizance of non-functional street lights in Gram Panchayat Pali, he directed the officer concerned to ensure repair of all such lights across the district within 10 days and to assign future maintenance to the concerned company. Besides this, during the meeting the Cabinet Minister also heard several other complaints including restoration of services, improvement of basic amenities, and strict monitoring of development works and issued necessary directions for prompt resolution of issues and directed officers to expedite disposal of pending files to prevent inconvenience to the public.
Later interacting with media persons, Dr. Arvind Sharma said the Government has issued strict directions to improve cleanliness and infrastructure in government schools. Adequate budget provision and accountability have been ensured for maintenance of school toilets. Principals and headmasters have been authorised to undertake repairs and minor works through school-level committees. He added that responsibility will be fixed in case deficiencies are found during inspections.

DG Reviews Ongoing Works of International-Level Shaheedi Smarak in Ambala
Ensure No Compromise on Quality, Complete Pending Works Promptly, directs K. Makrand Pandurang
Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Haryana, K. Makrand Pandurang, on Tuesday inspected the international-level Shaheedi Smarak being constructed in Ambala on the Ambala–Delhi National Highway. He reviewed the ongoing works at the site and issued necessary directions. He directed that all remaining works be completed in a time-bound manner while maintaining the highest standards of quality. On this occasion, Director, Shaheedi Smarak, Dr. Kuldeep Saini, along with representatives of the concerned agency, briefed the Director General in detail about the works related to the Smarak.
The Director General also reviewed the status of works completed so far and took detailed information about the pending works. He also held a meeting at the site to review the overall work plan and issued necessary guidelines. After the meeting, he carried out a detailed inspection of the ongoing works at the Shaheedi Smarak. He directed that better coordination be ensured with the NHAI department for maintaining cleanliness and carrying out other related works outside the main gate of the Smarak. He also directed that all finishing works related to the Smarak be completed on priority.
He further directed that proper level checking be carried out to ensure that no water accumulates during the rainy season, and all manholes installed at the site should be placed as per the required levels. During the inspection, he also emphasized that works related to electricity, sewerage and other services should be checked through third-party inspection by forming a dedicated team. He made it clear that no compromise would be tolerated in the quality of work.
During the inspection, Sh. K. Makrand Pandurang also reviewed the food court and shopping complex buildings and issued necessary directions. He said that all minor works identified during the inspection must be completed before the next meeting. He also directed the concerned agency to ensure that all pending works are completed at an accelerated pace.
The Director General also inspected the auditorium building and reviewed the seating arrangements as well as the sound system. He said that this is an important project and will serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation; therefore, all works must be carried out with proper coordination. He also reviewed the artwork-related works and issued necessary directions.
He further informed that before the inauguration of the project, the Chief Minister of Haryana will soon visit the site to review the progress. Keeping this in view, all concerned departments and construction agencies have been directed to ensure completion of all pending works with full dedication.
On this occasion, Director of the Shaheedi Smarak, Dr. Kuldeep Saini, apprised the Director General about the progress made on various components of the project and agenda points.
Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh visits Siswan Lake and Forest Reserve
Haryana Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh, accompanied by Lady Governor Smt. Mitra Ghosh, on Tuesday visited the serene environs of Siswan Lake and the adjoining forest reserve to experience its mesmerizing natural beauty and ecological richness.
During the visit, Governor Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Lady Governor Smt Mitra Ghosh and Secretary, Haryana Lok Bhavan, Sh. DK Behera had the motorboat ride and previewed the surroundings of Shivalik Hills. He also visited the museum, which showcases the ecological and cultural heritage of the region and has been meticulously preserved by the department.
Deeply impressed by the pristine surroundings, tranquil waters and the well-maintained infrastructure, Prof Ghosh lauded the efforts of the Forest Department, Punjab, for preserving this natural hidden trail. Divisional Forest Officer Sh. Amneet Singh, apprised him about the significance of the lake, the biodiversity of the forest reserve and the conservation efforts undertaken by the Forest Department, Punjab.
