The Indian Red Cross Society, UT Branch Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, GMCH-32, successfully organized a blood donation camp today at Bridge Market sector 17 Chandigarh
The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav, IAS Deputy commissioner-cum-Chairman, UT Red Cross Chandigarh Administration.
Ms. Punam Malik, Nodal Officer, Red Cross Society, UT Chandigarh, shared details about the various blood donation drives conducted by the UT Red cross
Today’s camp received an enthusiastic response, with more than 200 units of blood donated.
Sh Sanjeev Chadha, President Chandigarh Beopar Mandal, Sh. B N Sharma, President, Shiv Shakti Mandal, Badala, Sh Sanjay Mittal , President O D Mittal Charitable Trust , Sh Amit Jain, President, Mahamai Mansa Devi Charitable Bhandara Committee actively participated in the camp, demonstrating their commitment to this humanitarian cause. Shree Shiv Kanwar Mahasangh generously supported the event by providing refreshments for the donors, significantly contributing to the success of the camp.
