The Central Board of Secondary Education in a recent notification has asked the Regional Directors to conduct a surprise inspection in schools. The inspections are to be conducted in order to check the class 10 and 12 result work being conducted by the schools.
The Central Board has taken the decision to ensure that the policy issued by the CBSE is being implemented effectively in the schools. The board has also instructed the senior officers of the Regional office to conduct the inspections.
Inspections should be sudden
As per the details in the official notification, the CBSE has stated that in order to have actual information of the result work of the schools it has to be ensured that no prior information is given to the schools regarding the visit and only sudden inspections must be carried out.
In order to ensure that the inspections work, the CBSE has also asked the officers on duty to familiarise themselves with the tabulation policy of the CBSE class 10 and 12 students.
All affiliated schools to be inspected
The categories of Schools include Private schools, Government Schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan schools, and Navodaya Vidyalaya Sangathan Schools. The officers on duty are also required to make a point-wise report of every school they inspect.
The CBSE has however not given the officers much time to finish the service and in the notification, the board has asked that the reports prepared must be submitted along with a soft copy of the documents by the afternoon of July 12, 2021.
