Eternal Message of Gita Resonates in Japan

In a special programme organized by the Haryana Government, 100 copies of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita (Japanese edition) were presented to the Consulate General of India in Osaka, Japan, Sh. Chandru Appar. The copies were formally handed over by Assistant Professor at Osaka University, Sh. Vikas Pandey, and Ms. Nikita, who is currently residing in Tokyo.

On this occasion, Haryana Government’s Joint Director of the Department of Foreign Cooperation, Ms. Heena Bindlish, Advisor to the Chief Minister in the Department of Foreign Cooperation, Sh. Pawan Choudhary, Honorary Secretary of KDB, Sh. Upender Singhal, GM HSIIDC , Sh. Sanjay Garg, also joined the event via video conference.

During the programme, detailed discussions were held on spreading the eternal message of the Gita across Japan and other countries. CGI Osaka, Sh. Appar, expressed interest in organizing an online Gita learning course for Japanese students.

It is noteworthy that the International Gita Mahotsav will be celebrated in Kurukshetra from November 15 to December 5, 2025. During this period, cultural and spiritual programmes will be organized in 51 countries. On this occasion, the Haryana delegation also requested CGI Osaka to ensure participation of Japanese representatives in the International Gita Mahotsav and the upcoming Surajkund Mela under the cultural exchange programmes between the two nations.

CM Nayab Singh Saini offers prayers on Vishwakarma Diwas

CM also extends greetings on Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today performed prayers on the occasion of Vishwakarma Diwas at his residence ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’. The Chief Minister offered flowers and paid obeisance to the idol of Lord Vishwakarma. On this occasion, BJP State President Sh. Mohan Lal Badoli was also present.

The Chief Minister extended heartfelt greetings of Vishwakarma Day to the people of the state and said that Lord Vishwakarma is the symbol of creation, hard work and skill. He guided society on the path of progress through craftsmanship, construction and expertise. On this occasion, the Chief Minister prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of artisan brothers.

The Chief Minister said that the ‘Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana’ launched by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is an important step towards empowering the skills of traditional artisans and craftsmen. Carrying forward this spirit, the Haryana Government has also implemented several schemes in the state to provide training, financial assistance and access to modern tools to artisans, technicians and self-employed individuals.

Nayab Singh Saini also extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the citizens of the state on the auspicious festivals of Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
