Introduces 22 Varieties of Gujiya with Live Counter Ahead of Holi
Janta Premium – Sweets Bakery and Restaurant has opened its new outlet in Panchkula’s Sector 11 market, marking a fresh addition to the Tricity’s food and dining scene. The outlet brings together traditional Indian sweets, fresh bakery products, and a wide range of dining options under one roof, with a strong focus on quality and authenticity.
Launched just before the festival of Holi, the restaurant has introduced a special Gujiya Festival featuring 22 different varieties of gujiya. Gujiya is a popular traditional sweet prepared during festivals like Holi and Diwali. To make the celebration more engaging, the outlet has set up a live gujiya counter where customers can watch fresh gujiyas being prepared on the spot.
The festive menu also includes special Chana Bhatura, Puri Breakfast, and several other food items available at attractive prices.
Speaking at the launch, Founder Sumit Juneja said, “Our aim is not just to serve food, but to create memorable experiences for families, especially during festivals. We are offering 22 varieties of gujiya, including ‘Fiber24 Sugar Free Gujiya’ for those who prefer low-sugar options. The live counter brings back the traditional festive feeling.”
Managing Director Vinay Sood added, “We maintain high standards of purity and taste. From desi ghee to freshly prepared in-house masalas, every ingredient is carefully selected. Our spices are prepared using traditional recipes to maintain consistency and authentic flavour.”
The menu offers a mix of Indian and international dishes. Popular Indian items include Amritsari Dal Makhani, Double Tadka Dal, and traditional Pahadi Dal prepared with desi ghee. The restaurant also serves Afghani Momos and Jhol Momos for those who enjoy global flavours. Beverages include Hot Chocolate, Cold Coffee, and Sweet Lassi.
In sweets, customers can enjoy Kalakand, Kesar Milk Cake, Kashmiri Burfi, Doda Burfi, Kaju Paan, Kesar Kaju Cake, Kaju Dilkhush, Kaju Jalebi, and Walnut Lounj.
Sharing future plans, Sumit Juneja said the brand is planning to open its next outlet in Chandigarh this year, followed by expansion into Mohali and nearby areas.
Vinay Sood added that the goal is to establish Janta Premium as a trusted and preferred food destination across the Tricity.
