Novex License Must for Successful Musical Event

Novex Communications, who has been protecting the copyright industry since 2002 is the leading music licensing right holder in the country today. Novex Communications holds the rights for Yash Raj, Zee music, Shemaroo entertainment and Eros entertainment contributing to atleast 80 percent of music today. These companies consist of maximum percentage of the hit music, including party songs, hit albums, best bollywood music, Punjabi hits, ghazals etc.

While talking to the media Spokesperson Balwinder Singh said that Novex holds the complete package for top songs at parties, radios, pubs, discos etc for several few years which include hit music from movies like Shandar, Raees, Sultan, Baar Baar Dekho, Sairat, Bang Bang, Rustom, Udta Punjab, Befikre and many more.

Balwinder Singh informed further that Novex has been an ever expanding company in the music copyright industry, as they have been authorized by integrated media content firm Shemaroo Entertainment Limited and Eros entertainment as its official agent to exploit public performance licensing (PPL) rights in the sound recordings of songs since this year. He added further that Novex now holds the best hit music in the country dealing with old to the latest songs. The copyright law clearly states that any commercial establishment using Novex music from hotels to event organizers will have to obtain license from Novex and pay a fee to play audio music for their patrons, such as airports, amusement parks, art galleries, banks, beauty parlors, bowling alleys, buses, cinemas, clubs, dance centers, discotheques, DJs, exercise classes, exhibitions, factories, hospitals, magic shows, museums, nursing homes, offices, railways stations, railway trains, reception areas, shops, spectator sports, swimming pools and theatres.

Any musical composition, sound recording or any part thereof, in any format, for the purpose of profit or entertainment in a place will need a ‘Novex Music Licence’ from the copyright owner or authorized agent of copyright owner.
