Nurses week concluded at RGI with Blood Donation Camp


Rattan Professional Education College organized a Blood Donation Camp Valedictory Ceremony of International Nurses Week. Team of PGI Doctors and technicians accomplished the task. The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Chief Guest Monika Lamba, Chief Judicial Magistrate & President, District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, Mohali and Special Guest of Honour Sh. Prem Chand Ji Goyal, Senior Parcharak, Regional Executive Member, RSS, Chandigarh.

All the donors were provided with Broaches, Certificates & Mementos for donating blood.  Amongst the prominent blood donors was Sh. Sunder Lal Aggarwal, Chairman, Rattan Group of Institutions. As many as about 127 persons (College Girls & Boy) & voluntary Donors donated blood voluntarily.

Chairman Sunder Lal Aggarwal  RGI further complimented the staff and the students for working on this social cause. He  further said that there was hardly any other service to humanity as noble and virtuous as the donation of  blood and our group will organize the blood donation camp very soon for this social cause. Sangeeta Aggarwal , Member RGI informed that  the blood transfusion will not damage your health; instead, it will save lives of the patients who are in urgent need of blood. She urged students to come out and actively volunteered and donate blood to save several human lives. Davinder Kaur, Principal, Nursing, also joined the program and gave blessings to the students.

Students were given certificates to the winners of various activities such as Quiz competition, Poster completion, Community Health Fair.
