Punjab has disposed-off contraband drugs
Today i.e., 08.10.2018, Drug Disposal Committee under the chairmanship of Sh. Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS, W/SP/Operations, UT, Chandigarh & two members Sh. Pawan Kumar, DSP/Crime, Sh. Sachin Gularya, Superintendent NCB, Sub Zone, Amritsar, Punjab has disposed-off contraband drugs, which was seized under NDPS Act by 05 Police Stations i.e., PS-3,17,11,39 & Industrial Area of Chandigarh Police and further there was no requirement of same in any legal proceeding. The required permission of same has been obtained from the Hon’ble District Courts, UT/Chandigarh. Approximately 296 kgs of contraband drugs seized in 267 NDPS Act cases disposed off by way of incineration at M/s Rainbow Environments at Village-Baliyali, District-Mohali, Punjab by adopting all legal formalities.
