Rotary Club North awards Scholarships to the Govt. College of Girls, Ludhiana
10 outstanding candidates receive scholarships worth Rs. 5000 each
Rotary club Ludhiana has selected 10 deserving candidates to receive scholarships of Rs. 5000 each to the students of Govt. College of Girls.
The Chief Guest Mrs. Mamta Ashu, Councilor wife of Hon’ble Cabinet minister, and The Guest of Honor Mr. ravinder Jaiswal, The Divnl Manager of The New India Assurance Co. Ltd graced this occasion with their warm presence. The project was sponsored by Project chairman Sh. Gurjit Singh.
The goal of the scholarships was to help finance the deserving girls with their education as few of these homes did not even have a single bread winner in the family.
The higher education of one of the recipient student, Ms. Radhika of M.sc. IT, who lost her parents recently, was sponsored by Project chairman Sh. Gurjit Singh through this initiative
