When asked about the issue of waterlogging on roads in Gurugram following recent monsoon rains, he criticized the opposition, and said that “When Gurugram was initially developed, it was under the governance of opposition parties. They failed to plan a proper drainage system with drains and roads, which is essential when establishing a new city. Constructing such infrastructure in an already developed area is not easy. As a result, there are no proper outlets for water today, and unplanned construction continues relentlessly.” He emphasized that due to the opposition’s failure to create a systematic development plan during their time in power, the citizens are now facing hardships.
Responding to comments made by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann about the Prime Minister, Vij said that Mann should undergo psychiatric evaluation, as no one has ever used such language about the Prime Minister before. He questioned the criticism by saying that the countries the Prime Minister has visited are legitimate nations inhabited by people, and maintaining international relations with them is essential for trade. The Prime Minister has visited countries like Ghana, Brazil, and Trinidad.
Vij said that the Prime Minister is continuously working to maintain cordial relations with all countries. Calling India’s foreign policy a success, he said that today it is at its peak. He added that India’s name is taken with respect and honor worldwide because the Prime Minister is fostering strong international ties.
