Sanjay Tandon lauds contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 93rd birthday

The state President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Chandigarh, Sanjay Tandon participated in the Havan organised for long and healthy life of former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the occasion of his 93rd birthday today. The havan was held at Bal Shiv Mandir, Sector-29, Chandigarh which was also attended by the District President, Shakti Devshali, Mandal President Shilanath and residents of the area. He also addressed the gathering at Indira Holiday home, Sector 24 and spoke about the political life of Vajpayee.
While lauding the contribution of Vajpayee towards the development of the nation, Tandon said, “The stalwart of the BJP, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, is a political persona known for his exemplary leadership and contribution to Indian politics. He had joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a swayamsevak in 1939 and has been vigorously working for the betterment of our people since then. We are living the world of advanced technology today when things are easy but Atal ji worked very hard in shaping the future of the country within the minimum resources. I pray that he is blessed with good health and a long life”.
On this occasion, Mayor Asha Jaiswal, Chandigarh BJP Senior Vice President Raghubir Arora, Chandigarh BJP,General Secretary, Prem Kaushik, District President Jatinder Malhotra, Mandal President Birbal, local area Councillor, Sunita Dhawan, Councillors Ajay Dutta, Arun Sood, Raj Bala Malik, Shakti Devshali, Ravikant Sharma Shipra Bansal, Satish Kanth, Maj Gen Kandal, Haji Khursheed, Charanjeev Singh, Mahesh Inder Sidhu, Kamla Sharma, Mahila Morcha President Monica Bansal, Sabina Bansal, Rajesh Mahajan, Sardari Lal were also present .
