What makes TPL different is its multi-sport format, which includes 10 exciting sports. These include football, cricket, basketball, skating, swimming, dance, music, paddleball, pickleball, lawn tennis and yoga etc. In this, artists along with young athletes will get a chance to showcase their art. Over 3,000 students will participate in monthly tournaments throughout the year, building towards a grand finale with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh at stake, making the event one of the most lucrative school-level competitions in the country.
The TPL is not just about trophies. It is about creating opportunities. In collaboration with sports associations such as the Chandigarh Football Association and the Mohali Badminton Association, the league will also host talent scouts from athlete management companies and sponsors, opening doors to national and international careers for rising stars.

Several schools have announced sports scholarships for top performers to ensure that the most talented and deserving students continue their journey into professional sports even after the league ends. TPL matches and events will be broadcast on campuses to bring families and school communities together, allowing parents, peers and teachers to cheer on their teams and celebrate every win.

A TIDA spokesperson said the TPL is not just a tournament. It is a movement. It’s about developing the next generation of athletes and leaders and providing them with the experiences, encouragement and resources they need to succeed.”

With a bold vision, strong community support and a platform that celebrates all-round talent, the TIDA Premier League is all set to redefine school sports in India.
