“Zero Tolerance Day”
Today i.e. On 29.9.2018 Chandigarh Police has observed a “Zero Tolerance Day” against traffic violations in the area of Police Station Sector-19, Chandigarh i.e Sector-19, 20, 18 & 21 from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM in which all police officials deployed in the area of police station, Sector-19, PCR vehicles, traffic police and other field staff also directed to undertake thorough and coordinated checking of vehicles. During “Zero Tolerance Day” total 733 challans were issued today and 23 vehicles impounded for traffic violation i.e. Red light jump, over speed, W/O helmet, Mobile Use, Cycle track violations and other traffic violations.
