He further informed that artificial organs for human bodies which work just like the natural ones have been already been created at laboratory level using 3-D printing. The students were enthused on learning that they would soon be able to produce their own clothes and accessories using personal 3-D printers even at home. He further informed about the scope of this emerging technology and explained how they could use it to innovate on new ideas in the industry and excel in their career.

Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC informed at the moment that the range of objects that could be produced by 3D printing was once highly limited by the constraints of the technology. But recent rapid improvements in 3D printing techniques, have removed many of these boundaries. These improvements have resulted in more durable materials, and a level of detail that allows functional objects to be manufactured directly.
