A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 21.03.2018. Accused later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

A case FIR No. 34, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Sandeep Kumar R/o # 818, Ph-9, Mohali (PB) against driver of car No. PB-09L-0977 namely Swaran Kumar Seth R/o # B-31/53, Moh-Khaj-Chain, Kapurthala (PB) who hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No. PB-27C-9509 at dividing road, Sector 10/16, Chandigarh on 14.03.2018. Complainant got injured was admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Manmohan Singh R/o near Gurudwara Village-Padol, Distt-Mohali, (PB) reported that Samsung LED TV, cash Rs. 150-200/- from cash box and some documents from Shop CITCO, Shed No. 15, Village- Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on the night intervening 20/21-03-2018. A case FIR No. 120, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Sh. Ashok Kakkar R/o # 325, Sector-32/A, Chandigarh reported that cash Rs. 20,000/- and gold & diamond jewelry from his residence on 20-03-2018. A case FIR No. 104, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajdeep Singh R/o # 45, Shivjot Enclave, Kharar, (PB) reported that four occupants of Swift Dzire car No. HR—– robbed complainant’s I-20 car No. PB29W2716 on gunpoint near Gurudwara, Sector 53, Chandigarh on 21.03.2018. A case FIR No. 91, U/S 392 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A lady resident of Sector 37D, Chandigarh reported that two unknown occupants of Scooter robbed one gold chain and ear rings from complainant at her residence on 21.03.2018. A case FIR No. 120, U/S 394, 452, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
