With hearts full of gratitude and spirits soaring high, NGO Tammana celebrated its 17th anniversary with ASHIA 17 – an evening dedicated to honouring selfless service, compassion, and the journey of giving.
In true Tammana tradition, the event began with the candle-lighting ceremony, also symbolising the event’s theme “Light Beyond the Dark.”
The aura of the evening was elevated with a cake-cutting celebration, while everyone dressed spooky in black, danced their hearts out along with their family members, adding joy & laughter.
The night sparkled with the Annual 7 Star Awards and Superstar Awards, recognising members for their dedication and impact.
The evening also witnessed the distribution of Experience Certifications, marking milestones of service.
The awards were presented by Founder President, Isha Kakaria and General Secretary, Jaskaran Singh, adding a personal touch to the honours.
Speaking on the occasion, Founder President Isha Kakaria said,
“Tammana was founded in 2008 with a vision to create meaningful change, and over these 17 years we have touched countless lives with compassion and service. Each milestone reflects the strength of our volunteers and the belief that together, we can always do more.”
The celebrations concluded with a heartfelt Shukrana at Sai Mandir, Sector 29, Chandigarh, to offer prayers, gratitude, blessings, and strength for the journey ahead as NGO Tammana entered its 18th year!
