”Badhaal… not Badlaav” - Arvind Khanna on AAP’s one year in Punjab
Reacting on the first year completion and celebratory full page Ads given by AAP Punjab in the state;  Arvind Khanna, State Vice President BJP attacked the current Punjab Govt on their massive failure in fulfilling the guarantees given in their pre-poll promises. “Badhaal… not Badlaav; that’s what Punjab has experienced in last one year.
More than 200 deaths due to drugs overdose; youth not getting any jobs, no financial assistance for women, industry exodus from Punjab and illegal mining still continuing … their list of failures is so long,” said Mr Khanna while tweeting a poster taking a jibe on the Ad given by AAP Punjab Govt.
He said if Advertising and Publicity is the basis of measuring achievements; this AAP Govt has broken all records. He added that this Govt’s priorities are so wrong that they cut down the budget allocation of Punjabi University but allocated ₹600 Cr for annual advertising. He reminded CM Bhagwant Mann the trust and robust mandate given by the people of Punjab and asked him to work keeping Punjab & Punjabis as focus and do something concrete in next four years.
