The ongoing recruitment drive of the Shiromani Akali Dal has garnered resounding support, as affirmed by senior leader and former chairman of (PADB), Gursewak Singh Sheikh, from the Khadoor Sahib assembly constituency. A substantial turnout of the general public and youth has enthusiastically embraced the party’s initiative.
Gursewak Singh Sheikh attributed the success of the recruitment campaign to the adept leadership of Khadoor Sahib’s in-charge and former MLA Ravinder Singh Brahmpura. He lauded the enthusiastic response from the residents of village Manochal Kalan and highlighted the consistent organization of recruitment camps across every village in Khadoor Sahib, leading to a groundswell of support for the SAD as a formidable regional force.
During his interaction with the media, former MLA Brahmpura pointed out the perceived shortcomings of the ruling AAP government in Punjab, characterizing their tenure as marred by failures and deception of the public. Brahmpura predicted a resounding defeat for AAP in the current Delhi assembly polls due to what he deemed as Arvind Kejriwal’s propagation of falsehoods. The exorbitant expenditure of Punjab’s resources on the Delhi polls and accused Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of being subservient to Kejriwal’s agenda, a move that would have repercussions for AAP in Delhi,” Brahmpura added.
Brahmpura emphasized the need to recognize the developmental strides achieved under the SAD regime, contrasting it with AAP’s appropriation of these achievements through misleading advertising campaigns. He expressed confidence in the resurgence of the Akali Dal, highlighting the party’s commitment to delivering effective governance for the people of Punjab. Drawing attention to the current investment climate, Brahmpura urged Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to prioritize state welfare over political maneuvering, to attract investors and bolster industrial growth in Punjab.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities including Satnam Singh Shah, Ajaib Singh, Lakhbir Singh (Secretary) and others, symbolizing the escalating momentum and endorsement of Shiromani Akali Dal’s vision and leadership. -END-
