Burglars strike at 2 houses in Chandigarh: Two burglary incidents have been reported from the city. According to the police, Mohammad Nadeem, a resident of Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, reported that Rs50,000, a gold chain, a gold necklace, six pairs of gold tops and a mobile phone were stolen from his house on October 4.
In another incident, Kasim Ahmed, a resident of Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran, reported that gold jewellery and a mobile phone were stolen from his house on October 4.
