Chandigarh Traffic Police has been awarded Police Excellence Award in the category of best of Traffic Management by Cops Today, International, a journal on Internal Security published by Foundation for Police Research at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 18th May, 2017. The award has been received by Sh. Yesh Pal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic on behalf of Chandigarh Police. The award was given by Sh. T.N. Mishra, Former Director General of Police, Karnatka during the function.
