Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini called upon the people of Punjab to strengthen the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that once this is done, Punjab will also progress. He said that previous governments had pushed Punjab into economic decline, but after the formation of a BJP government, the state would once again become a vibrant and prosperous Punjab.
Saini was addressing a meeting of industrialists in Mandi Gobindgarh of Punjab today.
Taking a dig at the AAP government in Punjab, Nayab Singh Saini said that while Haryana is providing several facilities for industries in the state, some governments are still trapped in politics. Instead of focusing on development, they indulge in politics of confrontation. Rather than promoting industries, they entangle them in a web of regulations. He said such conditions are visible in Punjab every day, where industrialists, businessmen, and even media institutions highlighting the issues of the industrial sector are being intimidated and threatened.
He said that the manner in which the double-engine government has promoted industries in Haryana over the last eleven and a half years is evident to all. Policies were simplified, the single-window system was implemented, and rapid work was done on electricity, water, and infrastructure. As a result, Haryana has become the first choice of investors. However, if we look at Punjab, the situation appears quite different. Industrialists here are facing several challenges, such as power crisis, law and order issues, and policy instability. He added that he had not come to criticize anyone, but the truth cannot be hidden.
Nayab Singh Saini said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, programmes such as Make in India, Startup India, Digital India, and One District-One Product have completely transformed the country’s industrial framework.
He said that in Haryana, a new industrial policy is being formulated after consultations with industrialists and based on their suggestions, and it will be the number one policy in the country. He added that Haryana is the first state in the country to form an “Udyog-Shramik Maitri Parishad” to resolve disputes between industries and workers through mutual consent and harmony.
Calling Haryana the first choice of investors, he said that the state would soon introduce a ‘Land Feasibility Certificate’ system to make the investment process more transparent. Under this, investors will receive a digital certificate within 45 days.
The Chief Minister further said that to improve ease of doing business in Haryana, more than 1,100 unnecessary rules across 48 departments have been abolished. Amendments are also being made to the Land Pooling Policy to make land pooling more effective. This will accelerate the development of 10 new mega-scale IMTs.
He informed that proposals have been invited from farmers through the e-Bhoomi portal for developing IMTs in Tosham, Jind, Rewari, Faridabad, and Rai. Apart from this, the land acquisition process for IMT Ambala and Naraingarh has already begun. Haryana is committed to establishing a global identity for its industrial sector. In this direction, the “Haryana Export Promotion Council” has also been formed to promote exports.
Saini said that to encourage the establishment of new industries and their quick operations, factories and sheds with plug-and-play facilities will be developed in major industrial areas. A dedicated Small Traders and MSME Insurance Scheme will also be launched to provide affordable insurance coverage against fire, theft, and natural disasters. An ‘Advance Ruling Portal’ will also be created to resolve investors’ issues within 15 days.
He further informed that to make Haryana a hub for specialized industries, 10 acres of land will be provided for the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology in Panipat. The country’s largest wholesale market complex and North India’s biggest marble market cluster will be developed in Rai. To make exporters globally competitive, Export Boosters will be provided, and Export Freight Subsidy Support will be increased from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh. MSME and Export Facilitation Desks, along with plug-and-play clusters, will be established in every district.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini told the industrialists of Punjab that the state has a clear choice before it. On one side is development, stability, and decisive leadership, while on the other side is instability, confusion, and broken promises. He said that everyone must now decide which direction they want to move in.
He assured the industrialists that the memorandum of demands submitted by them would be taken up with the Central Government for resolution. He said that if the BJP forms the government in the upcoming Assembly elections, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will make Punjab the number one state in terms of development as well.

Annual Confidential Report (ACR) system to be fully digital by April 2027, Online Leave Management System made mandatory for all departments
In a major step towards strengthening transparency, efficiency and accountability in governance, Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi today chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the implementation of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) and other key digital platforms across the state.
The meeting, attended by Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments and senior officials, reflected the state government’s firm commitment to building a fully digital and citizen-centric administrative system.
A detailed review of the HRMS platform revealed that the system currently comprises 18 modules covering various aspects of employee management. While several departments have shown encouraging progress, the Chief Secretary stressed the need for uniform adoption across all departments, boards and corporations.
In a key decision, the online Leave Management System has been made mandatory for all departments. Officials were directed to ensure immediate compliance and submit clear timelines for implementation. Coordination among the Human Resources Department, Treasury, NIC and General Administration Department has been strengthened to facilitate seamless rollout.
The meeting also reviewed the Centralised File Management System (CFMS), which handles digital file movement and official correspondence. Several departments reported notable progress in clearing pending files within the stipulated timelines.
The Public Health Engineering Department emerged as a top performer, achieving substantial reduction in pendency, followed by Rural Development and Horticulture departments. To further improve efficiency, a new “parked files” category is being introduced to better manage files that require future review without inflating pendency figures.
The Chief Secretary directed that pendency be monitored regularly through monthly reviews, with clear accountability fixed at the officer level.
Renewed Focus on e-Office Expansion
The review highlighted a significant rise in electronic receipts over the past few years, indicating growing adoption of digital systems. However, the creation of e-files requires further strengthening. Rastogi directed all Administrative Secretaries to personally oversee e-Office implementation in their departments. A comprehensive department-wise and district-wise roadmap is being prepared to ensure time-bound and complete adoption of e-Office across Haryana.
Online ACR System to Transform Performance Evaluation
Deputy Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Yash Pal, informed that in a landmark reform, it has been decided to make the Annual Confidential Report (ACR) system fully digital by April 2027. Departments have been asked to standardise ACR formats and make them more objective and performance-linked. The system will also be integrated with platforms such as CFMS, SARAL and e-Office, enabling real-time performance tracking and reducing subjectivity in evaluations.
Nodal Officers to Strengthen HRMS Implementation
Dr. Yash Pal said to ensure continuous improvement of the HRMS platform, all departments have been directed to appoint domain experts as nodal officers. These officers will coordinate with NIC and other agencies to address department-specific requirements and ensure smooth integration of digital systems.
Towards Transparent and Citizen-Centric Governance
Emphasising the larger vision, the Chief Secretary stated that digital governance is central to delivering faster, transparent and accountable services to citizens. He underlined that every aspect of administration — from file movement to employee management — must transition to a fully digital ecosystem.

In a strong push towards inclusive development and empowerment of persons with special abilities, Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi today reviewed the functioning and academic progress of key special education courses and rehabilitation institutions across the state. The review highlighted the steady expansion of specialised training programmes, with over 300 budding educators currently enrolled across multiple institutions.
The meeting underscored the state government’s commitment to building a robust ecosystem for training skilled professionals in the field of special education, while ensuring better rehabilitation and support services for persons with special abilities.
Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department, Smt. G. Anupama informed that the Haryana Government is committed to ensuring that every teacher graduating from B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. courses is equipped with the necessary skills to identify, support and effectively teach children with special needs. To achieve this, the government is planning to introduce specialized courses in the curriculum of educational institutions, aimed at strengthening inclusive education and sensitizing future educators toward the needs of such children.
The DIET institutions across the state will be training educators to be equipped to identify and intervene in a wide range of conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and learning disabilities, thereby strengthening the state’s human resource base in the rehabilitation sector. All existing teachers will be trained at the DIET institutions through a specially designed curriculum for early identification and intervention for Children with Special Needs.
The review reflects Haryana’s broader vision of ensuring that no individual is left behind in receiving quality education. By strengthening institutions and expanding specialised training programmes, the state is not only improving access to education for persons with special abilities but also creating a skilled workforce capable of delivering inclusive and quality services.

The Institute of Town Planners India – Haryana Regional Chapter (ITPI–HRC) is organising a roundtable discussion to mark 51 years of the ‘Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975’. The programme will be held at ITPI-HRC Auditorium, Bays No. 59-62, Sector-2, Panchkula on May 2, 2026, from 9:30 AM onwards.
Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the Haryana Chief Secretary, Anurag Rastogi will attend the event as the Chief Guest.
The main aim of the discussion is to review the legacy and impact of the 1975 Act, discuss solutions to present urban challenges, and identify future paths for sustainable development.

Wheat Procurement Norm Relaxation Will Provide Major Relief to Farmers: Shyam Singh Rana
Centre Government Has Taken a Major Decision in the Interest of Farmers: Agriculture Minister
Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana welcomed the special relaxation granted by the Central Government in wheat procurement norms for the Rabi Marketing Season 2026–27, describing it as an important and far-sighted decision taken in the interest of farmers. He said that this decision is the result of the State Government, under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, effectively raising farmers’ concerns before the Centre.
The Agriculture Minister said that due to recent unseasonal rainfall, the quality of wheat had been affected in many parts of North India, including Haryana. Taking this situation seriously, the Central Government acted swiftly and provided special relaxation in procurement standards to protect farmers from financial losses.
He informed that the following relief measures have been implemented for wheat procurement by the Central Government: the limit for luster loss has been increased up to 70 percent, the limit for shriveled and broken grains has been raised from 6 percent to 15 percent, and the total permissible limit for damaged and partially damaged grains has been fixed at 6 percent.
He said that this decision has been implemented from the very beginning of the Rabi Marketing Season, ensuring direct benefit to farmers across all districts of the state.
Rana said that this decision will protect farmers from deductions on their produce and ensure that the government procurement process continues smoothly. He also informed that the State Government is making separate arrangements for storage and management to maintain quality and transparency.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government is giving the highest priority to farmers’ welfare. Union Agriculture Minister Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is continuously coordinating with states to ensure that farmers do not face any inconvenience and that the procurement process remains simple, transparent, and time-bound.
Targeting the opposition, the Agriculture Minister said that when farmers’ crops were affected by unseasonal rains, the opposition did not raise the issue seriously. However, when the government took corrective steps to ensure transparency, the same opposition started indulging in unnecessary politics.
He said that the opposition has no real concern for farmers’ problems. Their politics is limited to creating confusion and opposing the government’s positive efforts. The Haryana Government and the Central Government are fully committed to protecting farmers’ interests together.
The Agriculture Minister assured that the State Government is continuously working to provide better facilities in mandis, make the procurement process smoother, ensure timely payments, and resolve every problem faced by farmers.
High-level review meeting on pollution control and waste management held in Gurugram under the chairmanship of Environment Minister Rao Narbir Singh

Haryana Environment, Forest and Wildlife Minister Rao Narbir Singh on Friday chaired a high- level review meeting in Gurugram. The meeting reviewed air and water pollution control, solid waste management, C&D waste management, ban on single-use plastic, CETP/ETP status, green area development and implementation of environmental rules.
The Minister directed officers to implement all pollution control measures within set timelines and ensure a clean environment for the public. Senior officers, including Additional Chief Secretary, Sh. Sudhir Rajpal and Pollution Control Board officers were present in the meeting.
Reviewing the agenda, the Minister said that construction sites above 500 square yards which are not registered on the Dust Portal should be challaned on priority. He also directed strict action against registered sites that are not following rules.
During the meeting, ACS, Sudhir Rajpal informed that around 400 construction sites in Gurugram will be covered within 15 days; otherwise, challan proceedings will be initiated against the concerned. He also directed that proper barricading be installed at every site to ensure that Gurugram seen as a model city with dust pollution effectively controlled.
Haryana takes comprehensive steps to improve air quality, strengthens monitoring system
Member Secretary, Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB), Yogesh Kumar said that the Pollution Control Board informed that several steps have been taken to improve air quality. In the state, 29 Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations have been established in the state, while 23 new stations are being established in the NCR region. In addition, 46 manual monitoring stations and 4 testing labs are functioning.
He further said that four source apportionment studies are currently underway in the state. To control dust pollution, 22 Dust Control and Management Cells have been set up. For monitoring industrial emissions, Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) have been installed in 521 industries, while 875 additional industries in three sectors have also been directed to install them. Similarly, for construction site monitoring, 3,866 sites have been registered on the Dust Portal to ensure real-time monitoring.
Strict measures to control road dust pollution; Focus on Mechanised Cleaning and Water Sprinkling
During the meeting, HSPCB officers informed that extensive measures are being taken by the state government to control road dust pollution. They stated that mechanised road sweeping is being promoted in NCR municipal corporations, where 56 machines are currently operational, and 91 new machines are planned to be procured this year. In addition, 60 anti-smog guns and 160 water sprinklers are being used regularly to control dust levels. Under the City Action Plan, dust-free roads are being developed, and 1,203 km of roads have been identified in the NCR region, of which 119 km have already been redeveloped in the first quarter of 2026.
Effective steps under Yamuna Action Plan for Water Pollution Control and BOD Improvement
HSPCB officers further informed that approximately 682 MLD of wastewater is discharged into the Yamuna through drains originating from Haryana. However, it was clarified that 128.6 MLD of this wastewater enters Haryana from the Delhi region before flowing into the Yamuna. Thus, the total discharge from Haryana stands at around 553.4 MLD. Additionally, nearly 83 MLD of wastewater from Delhi’s Alipur drain is directly discharged into the Yamuna in the Faridabad region, contributing significantly to pollution.
The Cabinet Minister directed HSPCB officers to identify all such points where untreated wastewater is being discharged into drains or the Yamuna and ensure strict action against responsible individuals or entities as per rules.
Six STPs with a total capacity of 133 MLD are currently under construction and are expected to be completed by 2027
Yogesh Kumar apprised the Minister that a total of six STPs with a combined capacity of 133 MLD are being set up in the state to strengthen sewage management, with a target for completion by March 2027. He said that in Bajghera, a 2 MLD STP is nearly 85 percent complete and will be finished by June 2026. Similarly, the 3 MLD STP at Khewra in Sonipat is 45 percent complete, while the major 77 MLD project at Radaur Road in Yamunanagar has reached 30 percent progress and is scheduled for completion by March 2027.
In Panipat’s Matlauda, the 3 MLD STP is 95 percent complete, whereas the 3 MLD project at Dadlana is 55 percent complete. Besides this, a 45 MLD STP at Badshahpur in Faridabad is under construction with 15 percent progress.
He added that the completion of these projects will significantly enhance the sewage treatment capacity of the state.
Yamuna Catchment: Upgradation of 7 STPs (288.5 MLD) to Strengthen Pollution Control
In order to further strengthen the existing sewerage infrastructure in the Yamuna catchment area, upgradation work of seven STPs with a total capacity of 288.5 MLD is being undertaken. It was informed that STPs in Gohana (3 MLD), Sonaria in Sonipat (40 MLD), Line Par area in Bahadurgarh (18 MLD), and Hathin (4.5 MLD) will be upgraded as per the scheduled timeline by 2026–27. Similarly, the 3 MLD STP at Hasanpur is targeted for completion by December 2026, while the large STPs at Dhanwapur in Gurugram (100 MLD) and Behrampur (120 MLD) will be upgraded by August 2027.
He said that these upgradation works will improve both the capacity and quality of sewage treatment, thereby significantly reducing pollution load entering the Yamuna. In addition, 11 new STPs with a combined capacity of 425 MLD are also proposed at various locations in the state at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,000 crore.
Target to Reduce BOD Levels in Drains by 2027; Strict Monitoring of Industries
Rao Narbir Singh said that the Haryana Government has set a target to reduce the Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) level in drains to below 10 mg/L by December 31, 2027. He directed officers to ensure strict monitoring of industries to prevent illegal discharge of wastewater through bypasses or tankers, and to constitute surprise inspection teams for effective enforcement.
He also instructed the strengthening of real-time monitoring systems (OMD) at ETPs, CETPs, and STPs to ensure effective implementation of pollution control measures.
Action on Single-Use Plastic: Focus on Major Stockists
The Cabinet Minister expressed concern over the enforcement of the ban on single-use plastic and said that action should focus on major stockists rather than small retail shopkeepers, so as to effectively curb its availability in the market.
HSPCB officers informed that during the special enforcement drive conducted from December 15, 2025, to April 15, 2026, around 6,863 challans were issued, fines amounting to Rs. 60,86,750 were imposed, and approximately 5,800 kg of plastic was seized and destroyed.
Strict Directions on Bandhwari Landfill, RMC Plants and Slaughterhouses; Review of City Action Plan
Rao Narbir Singh also reviewed the progress of legacy waste disposal at the Bandhwari landfill site, action against RMC plants, and compliance with environmental norms in slaughterhouses. He directed officers to expedite the scientific disposal of legacy waste, take strict action against violating RMC plants, and ensure strict compliance of environmental standards in slaughterhouses.
He further reviewed the Annual City Level Action Plan of Gurugram and emphasised effective implementation of all measures to ensure pollution control and environmental protection.

Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini on Friday underlined the deep cultural and spiritual bond shared between Punjab and Haryana, stating that while geographical boundaries may be different between the two states, their soul, traditions, and way of life remain intrinsically connected.
Addressing a large gathering at Pojewal in Punjab during the 24th Barsi Samagam of Satguru Brahmanand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale, the Chief Minister said that the shared heritage of both states is shaped by the teachings of revered saints, whose influence transcends borders and generations. On the occasion, he also announced a financial assistance of Rs. 11 lakh to support the institution’s ongoing efforts in promoting girls’ education.
Emphasising the universal appeal of saints,Nayab Singh Saini remarked that spiritual leaders do not belong to any one region, they belong to humanity as a whole. Their lives embody the timeless ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, reminding society of its collective responsibility towards harmony and service.
He said that Satguru Brahmanand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale commands equal reverence in Haryana, where a large number of his followers continue to draw inspiration from his teachings.
Drawing a connection between spiritual philosophy and governance, the Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government is striving to walk the path shown by such great saints, focusing on the welfare of the poor, women, and the larger society. He also invoked the ideology of Deendayal Upadhyaya, whose concept of Antyodaya—ensuring the upliftment of the last person continues to guide policy-making.
He said that both the Centre and the State government are committed to translating these ideals into meaningful action on the ground.
Highlighting the transformative role of education, especially for girls, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the legacy of Satguru Brahmanand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale lives on through institutions in the region, including four colleges and three schools dedicated to girls’ education. In a similar spirit, the Haryana Government has worked to ensure that higher education is accessible within a 20-kilometre radius across the state, enabling lakhs of young women to pursue studies without any hindrance, said the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister also acknowledged the saint’s lifelong efforts to promote healthy living and to combat social evils such as drug abuse. The awareness he created continues to inspire the youth to choose a disciplined and purposeful life.
In his message to young people, the Chief Minister urged them to embrace modernity without losing touch with their cultural roots. He said that the teachings of Satguru Brahmanand Ji Maharaj Bhuriwale serve as a moral anchor in challenging times.
He further said that although the saint may no longer be physically present, his spiritual legacy, teachings, and blessings will continue to illuminate the path for generations to come.

Comprehensive arrangements ensured for Physical Measurement Test (PMT); 20,000 candidates appeared so far
Member and Nodal Officer, Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), Sh. Bhupender Chauhan said that extensive arrangements have been made for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) being conducted at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula. He said that the Chairman of the Commission, Sh. Himmat Singh is continuously inspecting the arrangements, and two members of the Commission are also monitoring the process daily to ensure that it is conducted in a smooth and transparent manner.
Chauhan said that around 20,000 candidates have participated in the Physical Measurement Test between April 20 to 30, 2026. The testing process is currently ongoing.
For the smooth conduct of the entire process, around 250 officers and staff have been deployed, including teams from the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Health Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Fire Department, Physical Education Department, Police Department and Municipal Corporation.
He said that for the convenience of candidates, bus service has been provided from Zirakpur Bus Stand to Tau Devi Lal Stadium from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At the stadium, proper arrangements have been made for rest areas, drinking water, tents and security. Free baggage counters have also been set up where candidates can safely keep their belongings.
He said that the complete process for one candidate takes about 40 to 45 minutes. All necessary facilities have been provided from the entry gate to the exit gate.
He appealed to candidates that this time the PMT process is Aadhaar-based biometric. Candidates whose thumb impression is not updated in their Aadhaar may face delays, so they should update their Aadhaar details in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
He also said that four time slots have been fixed for the test—6:30 AM, 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM. All candidates are requested to reach the examination centre as per the time mentioned on their admit cards to ensure smooth arrangements.

Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh held a comprehensive review meeting with administrative officials and officers from the Education, Health, and Police departments in Nuh district. The meeting focused on key developmental and public welfare issues, with the Governor emphasizing the need for concrete and coordinated efforts to ensure the district’s holistic development.
The Governor stated that the primary objective of the administration should be to ensure the prompt, transparent, and sensitive redressal of public grievances. Highlighting the need to strengthen infrastructure, he called for further improvement in government offices, healthcare services, and educational institutions. He urged officials and staff to maintain a positive work environment and establish effective communication with the public.
Placing special emphasis on the education sector, Prof. Ghosh stressed the importance of ensuring quality education, adequate availability of teachers, and the development of proficiency in English and modern subjects among students. Expressing concern over the rising dropout rate, he directed that it should be addressed on a priority basis. He also underscored the need to create better opportunities for rural youth to pursue higher education and prepare for competitive examinations. He also emphasized the importance of promoting women’s education and enhancing their participation across various sectors.
In the context of healthcare, the Governor emphasized the need to expand hospital infrastructure, ensure the availability of doctors and medical staff, and further strengthen emergency services. Commending the efforts of the Police and Health Departments, he said that both are playing a crucial role in the district’s development. To maintain a strong law and order framework, he directed police officials to uphold peace, stability and public confidence.
Highlighting the importance of developing the IT sector, educational hubs, and sports infrastructure to boost employment opportunities for youth, the Governor observed that skill development and job creation can provide a new direction to the district’s younger population. He expressed confidence that coordinated efforts would propel Nuh district to new heights of development.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner and other officials presented detailed updates on ongoing schemes and initiatives in the district. Academicians and subject experts also shared their suggestions, which the Governor acknowledged positively and directed to be implemented expeditiously.
Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh urged all officials to work with a spirit of teamwork, stating that holistic development of the district and a tangible improvement in the standard of living of the people can be achieved only through sustained efforts and effective coordination.
Earlier, the Governor inaugurated the renovated auditorium on the second floor of the Mini Secretariat. Upon his arrival in Nuh district, he was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour by a police contingent at the Circuit House and was warmly received by senior district administration officials.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Akhil Pilani welcomed the Governor by presenting him with a memento, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Jyoti felicitated the First Lady of Haryana, Smt. Mitra Ghosh, by presenting her with a shawl as a mark of honour.

Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh today visited Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School (Nuh-2) in Nuh city and PM-SHRI Government Senior Secondary School in Ferozepur Namak village. During the visit, he reviewed key facilities at both institutions, including academic infrastructure, drinking water, sanitation and electricity. He also visited primary classrooms and interacted with students, encouraging them to study diligently and strive to become responsible citizens.
Addressing parents and students after the visit, the Governor emphasized that the holistic development of children is possible only when parents and teachers work together in a coordinated manner. He said that education extends beyond textbooks and includes sports, health, discipline and moral values, all of which are essential for the all-round development of students.
Prof. Ghosh stressed the importance of strengthening basic infrastructure in schools, highlighting clean drinking water, proper sanitation and access to sports facilities as key priorities. He said the government is making sustained efforts in this direction, with dedicated budgetary provisions to improve these amenities. On the occasion, the Governor also announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh each for both schools to further enhance facilities for students.

Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh today visited the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Ghasera to review healthcare arrangements. During the visit, he inspected medical facilities, availability of medicines, cleanliness and the overall quality of services being provided to patients. On the occasion, the Governor, along with first lady of Haryana Smt Mitra Ghosh, also planted saplings within the PHC premises.
The Governor directed Health Department officials to ensure that patients visiting the PHC receive quality facilities and timely medical care. He said that strengthening healthcare services in rural areas is a priority for the government, and no negligence should be allowed in this regard. Prof. Ghosh instructed officials to maintain an adequate supply of essential medicines in all healthcare institutions and urged medical staff to perform their duties with sensitivity and dedication. He also stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
During the visit, the Governor interacted with patients and their attendants to understand their concerns and directed officials to address them promptly.
