Haryana entrepreneurs embark on global expansion under Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's Leadership

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met representatives of Doom Samaj, Private Aided Colleges Association and National and State Teacher Award Organization at his residence in Chandigarh and discussed various issues.

          A delegation, led by former MLA and President of Private Aided Colleges Association, Sh. Tejveer met the Chief Minister and placed its demands related to private aided colleges. The Chief Minister assured them of support to enhance the quality of education in the state.

          President of National and State Teacher Award Organization, Haryana, Sh. Rajender Sharma also put forth issues related to his organization before the Chief Minister. During the meeting, the Chief Minister described teachers as the strong pillar of nation building, appreciated their contribution and assured to adopt a positive approach to strengthen the education sector.

          Representatives of Doom Samaj also met the Chief Minister and discussed various issues. The Chief Minister listened to them and said he will give all possible support in the overall development of the community. The representatives of Doom Samaj thanked the Chief Minister and said the state government is committed to the welfare of every section of society. They said several schemes have been successfully implemented by the government for the Doom Samaj, which is a commendable step of the government.

          On this occasion, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Saket Kumar, OSD to Chief Minister Sh. Bharat Bhushan Bharti, Additional Director, Information, Public Relations & Languages, Sh. Vivek Kalia and other senior officers were present.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the state government is considering enhancing the reference rate for interlocking paver blocks of 60 mm and 90 mm thickness in gram panchayats across the state. The State Government has released an amount of Rs 1871 crore to all gram panchayats from October 2024 to April 2025 for various development works.

          The Chief Minister said this during a meeting with various Sarpanches from the Dabwali constituency at Sant Kabir Kutir, here today. He assured that there would be no shortage of funds for development works in the state’s panchayats. He further informed that over the past six months, Rs 14.10 crore has been released under various schemes in 21 panchayats of the Dabwali constituency. He urged the Sarpanches to ensure high-quality standards in the execution of development works in their respective villages.

          Later, councilors from Ellenabad city met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and expressed gratitude for the various development works carried out in the city. During the meeting, the councilors also submitted requests for the upgradation of the civil hospital, expansion of the STP plant’s capacity, construction of a sports stadium, and development of a road along the canal passing near the city. The Chief Minister assured them that these projects would be taken up on a priority basis.

          Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini urged the councilors to actively cooperate with the government in the fight against drug abuse and contribute to making the state drug-free. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about drug prevention and encouraged citizens to immediately report any drug-related activities to the police. Additionally, he assured that any individual could share information related to drug addiction directly with him. “To achieve a drug-free state, the participation of every individual is essential,” he stated.

          Following this, officials from the Sain community across the state met with the Chief Minister to express their gratitude for the government’s efforts toward the upliftment of their community. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that all the announcements made for the Sain community during the birth anniversary of Sant Shri Shiromani Sain Ji Maharaj, held in Jind on December 4, 2023, are being implemented one by one. He noted that both the country and the state have been rapidly progressing over the past decade, setting new standards for development. He concluded by calling on everyone to join in propelling the nation forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, emphasized that no reduction will be tolerated when it comes to the respect and dignity of the people in society. He assured that anyone facing any issues could always approach him, as the doors of Sant Kabir Kutir are always open. “Anyone can come and voice their concerns,” he said.

          During the meeting, officials from the Sain community presented their demands to the Chief Minister, who assured them that their concerns would be addressed soon. Similarly, officials from the Lodhi community also met with the Chief Minister and submitted their demands, to which he assured them that their requests would be fulfilled as well.

          The meeting was attended by several senior officers, including Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department, Sh  A.K Singh; Principal Secretary of the Industry and Commerce Department, Sh. D. Suresh; Commissioner and Secretary of the Urban Local Bodies Department, Sh Vikas Gupta; Commissioner  and Secretary Development and Panchayats Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal; Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Saket Kumar; and other senior officers of the department.

Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, said that the state has achieved a significant milestone in State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) collection, surpassing the national growth rate and setting remarkable records in the financial year 2024–25. He stated that Haryana recorded a 16 percent growth in GST collections in April 2025 alone, ranking fourth in the country.

          The Chief Minister made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of the Chartered Accountant (CA) at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, today. Various issues related to GST and the industrial sector was discussed in the meeting.

          The delegation expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for implementing several reforms that have simplified the firm registration process and streamlined tax payments. They also extended an invitation to him to be the Chief Guest at an upcoming programme being organized to mark Chartered Accountants’ Day on July 1.

          The delegation requested the Chief Minister to take up with the GST Council to include the financial year 2020–21 under the GST Amnesty Scheme, seeking relief for taxpayers through the waiver of penalties and interest on certain past GST liabilities. On this, the Chief Minister assured the delegation that the matter will be taken up with the GST Council. He further assured them that all their genuine demands would be given due consideration and addressed appropriately.

          Nayab Singh Saini said that he recently inaugurated a Kar Bhawan in Rewari district, along with Aadhaar-based Suvidha Kendras across all 27 GST offices in the state, to provide enhanced convenience to traders and taxpayers. These centres have been established to offer a one-stop solution where traders can access various services such as registration, return filing, tax payment, and consultations related to GST law. He said that several processes at these centres have been simplified through the use of digital technology, helping to save both time and resources for traders. The Chief Minister emphasized that these Suvidha Kendras will play a vital role in the realization of the vision of Viksit Haryana, Viksit Bharat.

          The Chief Minister stated that, owing to the state government’s business-friendly policies, Haryana has emerged as a preferred destination for doing business and establishing industries. The government has extended various concessions to both small traders and large business enterprises. He also mentioned that a dedicated Facilitation Cell has been established to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.

          ayab Singh Saini stated that the State Government is fully committed to promoting startups in Haryana and has introduced several initiatives in the state budget to support this goal. He said that new startups are being established while existing ones are being actively supported and scaled. To further nurture entrepreneurship, Incubation Centres are being set up across the state to assist aspiring entrepreneurs and students in building high-quality startups. It was also highlighted that the state has implemented its Startup Policy to encourage the establishment and growth of startups. Additionally, subsidies ranging from Rs 1 crore to Rs 25 crore are being provided under various schemes to support the creation of new startups in the state.

          Principal Secretary Industries Sh D. Suresh, Principal Secretary, Excise and Taxation Department Sh Devinder Kalyan, Commissioner, Excise and Taxation Department Sh Vinay Pratap Singh, OSD to Chief Minister Sh B.B Bharti and CAs from different districts of the State were also present in the meeting.
