
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday attended the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme organized by the Directorate of Education at the auditorium of RKSD College, Kaithal as the Chief Guest. He watched the live telecast of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s Exam Warriors special episode along with the students. Thereafter, the Chief Minister addressed students of classes 9 to 12, teachers and parents and boosted their morale. Urging students not to take exam pressure, the Chief Minister said that exams are not your identity; rather, the effort, hard work and thinking that you put into preparing for exams are your real identity.
In his address, the Chief Minister said that today we all participated in the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme and listened to the message of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister gave a very important and inspiring message regarding the fear and stress that arise in students’ minds during examinations. The Prime Minister interacts with students every year before their exams. Even today, apart from examinations, he spoke to students about Viksit Bharat, cleanliness and duty and called upon them to ensure their participation in all these areas. The Prime Minister said that today’s children will be the strong pillars of a developed India. Therefore, all of us should collectively work harder in the direction of making the country a developed nation. He urged everyone to actively participate in campaigns like cleanliness.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Pariksha Pe Charcha is not just about marks, but it is a discussion about your mind, confidence and dreams. It is also an opportunity for self-assessment and self-development. If marks are sometimes low in exams, one should not get scared. We must continue to work hard and make efforts consistently. He said we should have a grand vision and thinking in life. Wishing the students success in their upcoming exams, he said that you should keep progressing in life, reach greater heights and play an important role in a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
On this occasion, Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi, BJP District President Jyoti Saini, former Minister Kamlesh Dhanda, former MLA Leela Ram, Zila Parishad Chairperson Karmbir Kaul, Municipal Council Chairperson Surbhi Garg, RKSD College Committee President Ashwani Shorewala, along with other dignitaries were present.
DDA Invites Applications from State Governments for Bulk Allotment of 2-BHK Flats
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has invited applications from State Governments for bulk allotment of residential flats under its “DDA Towering Heights, Karkardooma Housing Scheme–2026.” In this regard, a formal letter has been received by Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, from the Principal Commissioner (Housing), DDA.
As per the communication, the DDA has proposed bulk allotment of 107 two-bedroom (2-BHK) flats, which are currently under construction and have been earmarked exclusively for Central and State Government institutions. These residential units are located in different towers of RH-02 Block, Karkardooma, and are intended for use as staff quarters, official residences, or long-term accommodation for government employees
The scheme is open to Central and State Government ministries and departments, government universities, public sector undertakings, government organizations, and autonomous bodies. Interested institutions are required to submit applications along with authorization and approval from the competent authority, clearly indicating the number of flats required .
The DDA has clarified that allotment under the bulk category will be carried out strictly on a First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS) basis. Priority will be determined according to the date and time of receipt of complete applications, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions and availability of flats
The 2-BHK flats are priced between ₹1.79 crore and ₹2.32 crore, with plinth areas ranging from 142 square metres to 187 square metres. The housing complex offers modern facilities including parking, lifts, spacious balconies, a community centre/club house, and open green spaces, making it suitable for official residential use
The flats are reported to be over 90 per cent complete. At the time of allotment, institutions will be required to pay 75 per cent of the total disposal cost, while the remaining 25 per cent will be payable upon completion of construction. Possession of the flats is expected by July 2026
Situated in Karkardooma, part of Delhi’s first Transit Oriented Development (TOD) zone, the project enjoys excellent connectivity to metro stations, railway stations, the Anand Vihar ISBT, National Highway-9, and major arterial roads. The surrounding area is fully developed with civic amenities such as schools, hospitals, and commercial centres.
Haryana Government Places Services of Shyamal Misra at Disposal of Government of India
The Haryana Government has placed the services of IAS officer Shyamal Misra at the disposal of the Government of India consequent upon his appointment as Administrator (Digital Bharat Nidhi) in the Department of Telecommunications. An order in this regard has been issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi.
Shyamal Misra was serving as Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi, and Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department.
