Congress Sarpanch and Panchayat members put serious allegations and joined Akali Dal: Accusing the Congress area in-charge from Derabassi, Deepender Singh Dhillon, for disturbing the atmosphere of brotherhood and promoting corruption in the village, the current Congress Sarpanch and Panchayat members of village Bhankharpur including hundreds of their supporters,said goodbye to the Congress and Joined the Akali Dal in the presence of N.K Sharma and INLD leaders Abhay Chautala.
Sarpanch Harjinder Kaur during the program organized in Bhankharpur Said that Deepender Singh Dhillon has mislead this village in the name of giving grants for development works during the last five years. Only a grant of Rs.2 lakh has come here so far. He said that Deepender Singh Dhillon, who is misleading in the name of development, has done the work of ending the brotherhood in the village. Today many factions has come up in this small village because of the Dhillons.

On this occasion, Panchayat members of Bhankharpur Kamaljit Kaur, Mahinder Singh, Roshni Devi, Mohani Singh also announced to leave Congress and join Akali Dal. Welcoming the panchayat representatives to the Akali Dal, MLA N.K Sharma said that the Akali Dal has always worked for development and strengthening the brotherhood. He said that all the Panchayat representatives would not only be given due respect but development work would be done on the basis of initiative as soon as the Akali Dal government came to power.On the arrival in village, Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Bhankharpur while welcoming all the guests said that he supported Akali Dal in view of the honesty and functioning of N.K Sharma.
