Dr Lal PathLabs Foundation distributed medical equipments in three districts of Haryana

PANCHKULA—Dr Lal PathLabs Foundation under its project “COVID-19 Emergency Response” in collaboration with RCED, Directorate of Health Services, Haryana and Shivalik Development Board distributed medical equipments in three districts –Panchkula, Ambala and Yamunagar.

Under this project, RCED identified three districta molecular labs falling in the Shivalik area of Haryana. The requirement for equipments was identified and the list of items needed by them to deal with the present situation have been arranged.

The Shivalik region in Haryana is spread over 3,514 square kilometers of districts Ambala, Panchkula and parts of Yamunanagar. People are facing issues with the basic health care amenities as well. The patients coming from these areas majorly belong to socially weaker section of the society including OBC’s, SC and minorities.

The main objective was to help the Government of Haryana fight against COVID 19 by getting the required equipments for hospitals for providing proper treatment hence improving lives of the community through high quality and preventive healthcare facilities.

The distribution of the Equipment was organized in all the three districts at District Molecular Lab, Ambala, Yamunanagar and Panchkula, where the equipment’s were handed over to the officials of the Health Department. At District Molecular Lab, Ambala, Dr. Kuldeep Singh (CMO) along with his team consisting of Dr. Rajinder Rai, Dr. Hitesh Verma, Dr. Pallavi, Dr. Seema and Dr Sanjeev Singla received the equipments. At District Molecular Lab, Yamunanagar, Dr. Deepika and Dr. Hitesh, received the equipments. And, at District molecular Lab, Panchkula, Dr. Jasjeet Kaur (Civil Surgeon) along with her team consisting of Dr. Neeru Kapoor (Deputy Civil Surgeon), Dr. Neeraj (Incharge- Molecular Lab), Dr Saroj Aggarwal (Consultant) and Dr. Deepika (Consultant) were handed over the equipments. The equipments were handed over by the dignitaries including Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director RCED, Mr. Satwinder Singh (Consultant, RCED), Mr. Jatinder Singh (Project Officer, RCED) and Dr. Amit Chopra.

The program was co-ordinated by Mr. Mahesh Singla, IPS, Retd. DGP and Ex. Vice Chairman of Shivalik Development Board, Dr. Naresh Kaler (Deputy Director- Labs, Directorate of Health Services, Government of Haryana), Mr.  Rajesh Kumar Singh (DGM – CSR, Dr. Lal PathLabs), Mr Alok Singh (Assistant Manager- CSR, Dr. Lal PathLabs), Mr. Paramjit Singh (Director RCED), and Ms, Jaspreet Kaur (Project Ofiicer – RCED).

The items distributed include Software for automatic uploading of RTPCR results on ICMR site, 2X2 Laminar airflow Cabinet, Laboratory Centrifuge machine, Vortex Mixer, Bacteriological Incubator Digital ,Filter Tips sterile 10ul 10*96 and 20ul 10*96,  Auto cleavable Micropipette (F2) Size 1-10ul, (F2) Size 2-20ul, and (F2) Size 20-200ul, Pass Box with UV Light, Autoclave volume 80 litres, , Multichannel Pipettes  (8 channels), Auto Micropipettes5-100ul 2-200 ul 100-1000 ul, Water Bath, Hot Air Oven, Micro Fogger Machine (fumigator)Chemical Level Indicator , Autoclave Indicator Roll, Nitrile Gloves, RTPCR Plates compatible with RTPCR of Bio rad Cobas Z 480, Glass Door Refrigerators, Multichannel pipettes of Thermo fisher , Split ACs, Locker Cupboards which serve the purpose to fight with the present situation of the COVID-19.
