To maintain a better lifestyle, it is essential that our food be healthy. If the food is right then it will work as a medicine for the body. The above views were expressed by Ms. Deeba Arif, Member, PHDCCI SHE Forum and renowned Probiotic and Wheatgrass specialist, during a one-day seminar organized by SHE-Forum, the women’s wing of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The theme of the seminar was Let Food Be Your Medicine. The main objective was to make people include healthy food habits in their daily routine.

Highlighting the importance of healthy eating habits, Deeba Arif said that these need to be adopted to maintain an overall lifestyle. He stressed that food intake should be in accordance with the needs of the individual. He talked about the importance of micronutrients like pre-biotics and pro-biotics and their proper consumption. There was also discussion about the various health benefits of consuming wheatgrass, which helps in the formation of hemoglobin at a faster rate.

Welcoming the guests, Ms. Pooja Nayar, Chair, PHDCCI Regional SHE Forum highlighted the objectives of the Forum. He emphasized the Forum’s proactive approach in conducting awareness sessions and its commitment to address important issues and bring about change in the community.

Speaking on the occasion, Bharti Sood, President, PHDCCI SHE-Forum said that with united efforts and this event, PHDCCI SHE-Forum will be able to bring change in the lives of its members and impart knowledge from various domains. She said that SHE-Forum will work towards creating a platform that will take the lead in making women independent and self-confident.
