Independence day – Morning Cycle Ride – Fitter, Greener India
NGO Tammana’s exhilarating cycling extravaganza, themed “Nation First Always First,” held on August 15, 2023, at 5.30 am, was a resounding success, resonating with the spirit of India’s Independence.
Many enthusiasts of Yoga Fitness Group, 38 West also joined the event , while renowned cylist Rakesh Mohindra from Cycle Federation of India also graced the occasion with his presence.
Founder President Isha Kakaria shared that the vision of the event was about fostering a healthier and greener India through the patriotic pedal.
The vibrant unity came to light during the ride with each cycle proudly waving the Indian flag respectfully.
The atmosphere was charged with patriotic fervour while Team’s commitment to traffic rules played well its own responsible part at the cycle ride. Besides the team members, enthusiastic participants from outside joined hands to celebrate this momentous occasion at TAMMANA’s 149th Event. Encompassing a 10.5 km route through Chandigarh’s iconic landmarks such as Sector 18, Matka Chowk, Rock Garden, and Sukhna Lake, the journey was not only invigorating but also showcased the breathtaking beauty of the city, shared the Event SPOC Karan Rana. The memorable morning moved ahead with participants relishing refreshments together.
