An orientation program was organized for the medical students of NIIMS Medical College who were recently admitted to the medical programs offered by NIIMS Medical College.
International Institute of Medical Sciences has organized an orientation program to welcome the fresher batch of medical students to the college. The event commenced with the lamp-lighting ceremony where the students were warmly welcomed by the higher authorities of the medical college.
Dr. Vikram Singh said, We are happy to see the new batch with young energy and enthusiasm in NIIMS. The medical profession is a noble profession where discipline matters a lot. The students should emphasise the positive aspects of how NIIMS Hospital will benefit them with practical exposure to real-life case studies and many more to develop skills and aim big. As the medical profession is focused more on moral behavior and communication students must develop these skills towards their profession.
The higher authorities of NIIMS Medical College & Hospital were addressing the responsibilities of the students towards the patients and society. The event was followed by the question and answer session where students raised their questions and doubts related to their careers which were resolved by the experts and the faculty members. Also, the details related to their documentation and research were given to students to complete their enrollment process.
The event was graced with the auspicious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Uma Bhardwaj, Vice Chancellor, Dr. S N Gupta, Director of NIIMS Medical College & Hospital, Dr. CS Ahluwalia, Medical Superintendent of NIIMS Hospital, Dr. Ashutosh Niranjan, and Dean of NIIMS Medical College along with the faculties and fresher batch. The participation of all new students made it a great success with outstanding reviews.
