Central Human Rights Against Crime & Corruption begins fundraising campaign to support free education for children of affected families
The recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam has shaken the entire nation. In response to this tragic event, Central Human Rights Against Crime & Corruption launched a compassionate initiative today at the Chandigarh Press Club, aimed at providing free education for the children of martyrs and other affected families.
The core objective of this initiative is to ensure complete and quality education for the children who have lost their loved ones in terrorism or anti-national violence.
On this occasion, the organization made three key appeals:
1. Appeal to the Government:
The organization urged both central and state governments to provide policy-level support to this initiative and to develop special schemes for the rehabilitation and education of such families.
2. Appeal to Schools:
Private and government schools were requested to reserve seats for such children and to waive all tuition and education-related fees entirely.
3. Appeal to Corporates:
All corporate entities and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) bodies were appealed to come forward and support this noble cause financially.
The organization questioned: “How long can an ex-gratia amount of 10 lakh rupees truly sustain a family in terms of education, food, and basic needs? Eventually, someone has to hold their hand. Only if we all come forward, can real change happen.”
This initiative is not just about education—it’s about restoring hope and dignity to those who have borne the greatest sacrifice for the nation.
