One arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Three different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17 & Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against Four person who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later he bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.
One arrested under NDPS Act
Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Bhupinder Singh R/o # 3040, Sector-52, Chandigarh near Govt. High School, Sector-52, Chandigarh and recovered 25 injections of drugs from his possession on 09.08.2018. A case FIR No.294, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
MV Theft
Sh. Sanjeet Singh R/o #52/G, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’sActiva Scooter No. CH-01BD-0533 while parked near his residence on 07.08.18. A case FIR No. 206, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Sh. Sushil Lakhera R/o # 1010, Sector-28/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-04H-9068 while parked near H.No. 4576/A, Sec-46/D, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 259, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Sh. Ishan Sharma R/o #2935/2, Sec-49/D, Chd reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Pulsar M/C No. HP-14C-1681 while parked near his house between 30.06.18 to 09.08.18. A case FIR No. 160, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A lady resident of Palsora, Chandigarh, reported that unknown person stolen away M/Cycle No. CH-01BP-9625 while parked near his residence on 09.08.18. A case FIR No. 318, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Cheating
Dr. Jatinder R/o # 423, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh alleged that Deva Singh R/o # 164, Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh cheated Rs. 60,000/- from complainant regarding recruitment of his brother in Chandigarh Police. A case FIR No. 235, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
