Pooja Thakur &. Ritu Rana both adjudged Ms. Teej 2018

Rattan Group of Institutions Sector 78  celebrated Teej in the college premises with great fervor. The main aim behind this activity was to keep our coming generation in touch with their culture, which is losing its glory day by day Students of   presented a speech to highlight the significance of Teej. Various cultural activities like Gidda, Bhangra, Haryanvi Dance were performed by the students.

A musical performance was presented by the students in the form of folk song. Teej is incomplete without Mehandi and Bangles. Bangles were displayed and students exhibited their talents by making beautiful Mehandi designs.Games for female teaching staff like ‘Stick Bindi’, ‘Bangle wearing Competition’ were also the attraction of the celebration. Pooja Thakur of B.Sc. Final and. Ritu Rana of B.Ed. were both adjudged Ms. Teej 2018.

Speaking on the occasion Chairman RGI Sunder Lal Aggarwal  emphasized that   this festival is a glimpse of our rich cultural heritage, which seems to be taking a back seat these days. But by celebrating such festivals, the students get to imbibe the cultural values of our state. Sangeeta Aggarwal member RGI said at  the moment that this is the only festival which is completely meant for girls and  we are celebrating girl power today .
