Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated the Chartered Accountants Day celebrations organised by the Chandigarh Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) at The Palms, Zirakpur, on Wednesday. The event was attended by senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon, Chandigarh Mayor Saurabh Joshi, ICAI Chairman Sahil Garg, Vice Chairman Rachit Goyal, and other office-bearers. Governor Kataria praised chartered accountants for their significant contribution to financial transparency, good governance, and nation-building. The celebrations began with a flag-hoisting ceremony at ICAI Bhawan, Sector 35, and concluded with a captivating Sufi performance by the renowned Nizami Brothers.
