
Chandigarh: The first edition of the Punjab T10 Cricket League got off to a grand start with the unveiling of its official trophy and team jerseys at a glittering ceremony held at Ramada Encore., Zirakpur. The league will be held from May 23 to 31, 2026 in Amritsar. The trophy was unveiled by noted cine personalities including singer Jagjeet Sandhu, Pollywood Actor & Director Sachin Rishi, Bollywood Pollywood Actor & Celebrity Cricketer Rajiv Rishi in the presence of several eminent personalities from the entertainment and sports fraternity. Prominent attendees included Punjabi singer Manavgeet Gill, Shivam Kathuria, Seerat Bajwa, Anoushka Agarwalla, Kanji Porh, Sandy, Harvi, Veer Sandhu, Prabh Saini, Aale, Kabira, Sunny Vik, Hammy Muzic, Jind Universe, Harpi Gill and several other celebrities.
League organisers Wazir Ali Khan and Dansh Talwar informed that eight franchise teams — Mohali Monsters, Ludhiana Lions, Ferozepur Falcons, Patiala Panthers, Jalandhar Jaguars (owned by Rishi Brothers), Bathinda Bulls, Amritsar Alligators and Moga Mongooses will participate in the tournament. The league will feature overseas players, former Indian internationals, IPL cricketers and Ranji Trophy players alongside emerging local talent from Punjab.
Among the prominent cricketers expected to participate are Manpreet Gony, Anureet Singh, Chris Mpofu, Thisara Perera, Ajantha Mendis and Aftab Alam along with players from the Canada national cricket setup.

The Punjab T10 League aims to nurture cricketing talent from Punjab by providing young players an opportunity to compete alongside seasoned professionals while further strengthening the sporting culture in the state through an exciting and competitive T10 format.
