Chandigarh, A review meeting of the Chandigarh Under-23 Men’s Cricket Team was held at the Cricket Stadium, Sector 16, Chandigarh. The session was convened by Sanjay Tandon, member of the Governing Council (WPL), BCCI and former President of the UT Cricket Association (UTCA) along with Secretary, Hari Singh Khurana.
The meeting focused on evaluating the team’s performance in the recently concluded Under-23 ODI tournament with an emphasis on player development, match awareness and strategic planning. Coaches, selectors and support staff presented comprehensive feedback on the squad’s performance, identifying strengths as well as areas requiring improvement. Special attention was given to batting temperament, bowling consistency and fielding standards.
Addressing the attendees, Tandon encouraged the players to adopt a professional mindset towards training and competition. He acknowledged the talent within the squad and stressed on the importance of continuous learning to excel at higher levels. Khurana also emphasised UTCA’s commitment to nurturing young cricketers by providing better facilities, structured coaching pathways and increased match exposure.
