Shoolini University has once again made its mark in the global academic landscape, securing impressive improvements across multiple subject areas and innovation parameters in the SCIMAGO Institutions Rankings 2025 (Universities).
The university has ranked 2nd in India in both Chemistry and Energy, 3rd in Environmental Science, and 9th in Physics and Astronomy. These rankings underscore the university’s academic strength and research productivity in critical scientific fields. Moreover, notable improvements have been observed in Plant Science (Rank 19 from 35), Food Science (Rank 23 from 35), and Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology (Rank 99 from 105).
Shoolini University has improved its India-specific innovation ranking, moving from 166 to 158, reflecting the institution’s growing contribution to impactful and practical research aimed at driving societal change.
In the Overall Global category, Shoolini has secured the 46th position in India. In the Research Global category, the university ranks 16th in India, and in the Societal Global category, it stands at 208th in India.

Gautam Adani, nephew Sagar summoned by US SEC over 2,200 cr-bribery case
Adani Group’s billionaire Chairman Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar have been issued summons over US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) allegation about paying $250 million (over ₹2,200 crore) in bribes. The duo has been asked to respond within 21 days, as per the notice sent via a US court. The summons were sent to their residences in Ahmedabad.

A terminal at London’s Gatwick Airport has been evacuated due to a security threat. “Safety and security of our passengers and staff remains our top priority. Congress wins all 3 seats in Karnatka by-polls
Congress candidates registered wins on all three seats which went for by-polls in Karnatka. Pathan Yasirahmedkhan won from Shiggaonwith margin of 13,448 votes, defeating BJP’s Bharath Bommai, E Annapoorna won from Sandur with margin of 9,649 votes defeating BJP’s Bangara Hanumantha.
