Senior Citizens celebrate Valentine’s Day at Fortis
About 200 members of Mohali Senior Citizens Association celebrated Valentine’s Day at Fortis Hospital Mohali here
The auditorium of the hospital was well decorated with heart-shaped red balloons and the senior citizens were in symbolic red attire.
The programme started with the short one act, ‘The Proposal’. The older people were reminded of their youth and college life. A scene was created ‘Prem Dhaba’ where the senior couples came bubbling with valentine spirits, in which five couples participated.
It was a candlelight dinner scene where the senior citizens opened up their heart for proposing their loved ones. Every dialogue was properly chiselled & striking. When the proposals materialized, ‘newly-wed’ couples sang love songs to mark the occasion. All participants were given prizes by Fortis Mohali.

The whole event was anchored by Secretary of the association, Harjinder Singh & President Mr. S. Chaudhary. Celebrations concluded with everyone dancing to the latest Bollywood tunes. Fortis & Mohali Senior Citizens Association have been organizing such lively events for the last 11 years.
