
Chandigarh, UT Chandigarh Association (UTCA) cricketer Aditi Sheoron has been conferred with Certificate of Excellence in Sports by Punjab University, Chandigarh as part of the 77th Republic Day Celebrations at their campus on Monday.
A student of Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Chandigarh, Aditi Sheoran was honoured in recognition of her outstanding achievements in cricket and her consistent contribution towards the promotion of women’s cricket.
Notably, Aditi Sheoran has become the first school-going girl student to be honoured with this prestigious Sports Excellence Award by Panjab University.
The award was conferred by Prof Renu Vig, VC, PU and Prof. Dr. Y. P. Verma, Registrar, PU along with senior faculty members and dignitaries.
Sheoran has already earned several accolades for her performances and dedication to the sport. Earlier, she was honoured with the Chandigarh Administration State Award on 15 August 2025. She also received the Sports Excellence Award from the Government of Haryana (District Sonipat) on 26 January 2025. More recently, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, conferred upon her the Sports Excellence Award on 17 January 2026.
