Women safety top agenda of BJP: Sanjeev Khanna: BJP candidate from Derabassi assembly constituency Sanjeev Khanna said that as soon as the BJP government comes to power, arrangements for accessible toilets will be made in all the markets of Lalru, Derabassi and Zirakpur. The responsibility of their better maintenance will also be of the state government. During the election campaign, Sanjeev Khanna, while addressing a public meeting organized in dozens of villages including Laldu’s village Razapur, Jodhpur, Khelan, said that Lalru is a city of many villages.
Rural women come here to get their daily necessities, but till date public toilets have not been constructed in a good way. N.K Sharma, who was an MLA from this area, was also a minister in the Akali government, but he never paid attention to the solution of this problem. He said that during the last five years, the Congress in-charge has also focused only on filling their pockets instead of solving the problems of the people.
Congress and Akali Dal deprived the public from basic facilities
Despite the Congress being occupied by the three city councils, there is neither dustbin facility nor any arrangement for collection of garbage. He said that as soon as the BJP government comes, this area will be developed in a planned manner. On this occasion a large number of people including Rajpal Rana Mandal Pradhan, Jagjivan Mehta Mandal General Secretary, Rajiv Sharma District General Secretary, Sandeep, Monu Rana, Charan Singh, Subhash, Ram Krishna, Ashu, Mukesh Rana, Deepak Rana, Neb Singh were present.Khanna said that BJP has always given respect to women. Due to which women’s safety will be included in the top agenda of BJP when it comes to power in Punjab.
Will implement beat box system of police after coming in power
Sanjeev Khanna said that whenever he went for campaigning in Derabassi, Lalru and Zirakpur, women raised the issue of security in front of him. Due to which the BJP has decided to install Police Beat Boxes in all crowded areas keeping in view the safety of women. On this occasion, BJP leader Executive Mukesh Gandhi, District Deputy President Nirmal Singh Nimma, Mandal President Tony Saini, Yuva Mandal President Aman Rana, Divisional Secretary Kamal Gupta, former Councilor Ravindra Batra, Brijesh Moudgil and a large number of people were present.

Sanjeev Khanna, strongly condemned the incident of humiliating migrants from UP and Bihar during a program by the Chief Minister of Punjab and said that the contribution of migrants is important in the development of Punjab. Sanjeev Khanna said that today the people of the migrant community are making an important contribution in the development and strengthening of the economy of Punjab.
