
Bhagmender Lather produced a scintillating batting display to guide Chandigarh Kings to a thrilling three-wicket win over Royal Titans on the third day of the 4th Omaxe Chandigarh Premier League 2026 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula on Wednesday. This is Kings second win of the league
Chasing a challenging target of 183, Chandigarh Kings rode on an explosive knock from Bhagmender Lather who smashed 57 runs off just 27 balls studded with four boundaries and five towering sixes. Earlier, the Kings suffered an early setback when skipper Shivam Bhambri departed in the opening over. However, Arnav Bansal launched a fierce counterattack by hammering 40 runs off only 13 deliveries with three fours and four sixes. Lather then took charge, stitching together crucial partnerships. After Bhagmender’s departure, wicketkeeper-batter Akshit Rana contributed a valuable 29 off 15 balls while Harish Kumar remained unbeaten on 29 from 16 deliveries, ensuring Chandigarh Kings crossed the finish line with ten balls to spare.
Earlier, opting to bat first after winning the toss, Royal Titans posted a competitive 182 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. Sanchit Sahu and Markanday Panchal provided the early impetus with identical scores of 42 while Arjit Singh Pannu chipped in with a brisk 37. Harshit Singh added 19 runs lower down the order to push the total beyond the 180-mark.

For Chandigarh Kings, Rahul Singh and Nitesh Gorsi clinched two two wickets each.
Earlier on Tuesday’s evening, skipper Manan Vohra produced a masterclass in power-hitting by smashing a scintillating 103 off just 51 balls to lead HIIMS Hawks to a convincing 44-run win over Rock Garden Warriors. Batting first after Warriors opted to field, Hawks piled up a massive 252 for 5 in 20 overs.Vohra received excellent support from Nikhil Thakur who blasted 56 off 18 deliveries and Nipunn Sharda who contributed 52.
In reply, Rock Garden Warriors fought hard through Aarush Bhandari’s explosive 86 off 34 balls, but were bowled out for 208 in 19.3 overs. Anirudh Kanwar clinched four wickets.
