The Chandigarh Cricket Association on Tuesday commenced its three-day-long selection trials for the Under-16 category at the Cricket Stadium, Sector 16. The trials have witnessed an enthusiastic response from young cricketers with as many as 430 players registered. Out of these, around 150 players called on the opening day.
The selection process is being carried out under the supervision of selectors Yoginder Bhandari, Bharat Lumba and Ravinder Nain who closely assessed the players on various aspects of the game including batting and bowling
