Cleanliness Drive by Dolphin College Students

With an earnest objective to mark and commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi & create awareness on the Government’s initiative to discard usage of single use plastic, students of Dolphin (PG) College of Science and Agriculture, Chunni Kalan, set an example of Selfless Service, when of their own, they cleaned the dirtiest pond in village Chunni Kalan full of dirt, bottles, plastic bags and rags dumped in the pond.

Cleanliness Drive by Dolphin College Students

Tamchi Achung along with his 140 batchmates belonging to North East States of India took the initiative; he inspired students to contribute for cleaning this huge pond. The students hired JCB, tractor trolley and cleaned the area. The students diligently cleaned the area with utmost dedication and truly manifested the supreme example of adherence and commitment towards the pursuit of ‘Swachh Bharat’.

Er. Vibhav Mittal, Vice Chairman of the college, Dr. SP Jindal, Principal, Dr. K.S Dadhich, Director Academics and Dr. Manu Officiating Principal appreciated this initiative of the students. The Initiative was highly appreciated by the residents.
