“DLF Iron Lady – Empowered” Goes to Renu Goel
Renu Goel the merciful lady and the Co-Founder of NGO Nanhe Kadam was awarded as the “DLF IRON LADY – EMPOWERED”, on International Women’s Day, the IRON LADY awards were presented in a glittering function held at DLF City centre Mall in IT Park, Chandigarh. The awards mark a salute to the women who have carved out a niche for themselves in various walks of life thereby exhibiting the growing role of women in every sphere of life.
The honorific was a perfect choice as Renu Goel is running the NGO called Nanhe Kadam since 2010 to support the education of underprivileged kids and creating awareness across various important issues such as dental care, personal hygiene moreover she is the Member of Women Harassment Committee (commando 3&4 at commando complex Mohali). For the little ones, she is doing charity since the last 20 years to support blind kids and orphaned kids. Working on girl’s education and awareness of women-related issues. Nanhe Kadam provides certificates to volunteers who help underprivileged kids education.
