Honour to W&CSU for Child Friendly initiatives
Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Right celebrated its 5th Foundation day at the Auditorium Judicial Complex, Sector- 43, Chandigarh. On this auspicious occasion CCPCR organized a National Consultation for Chairpersons and members of Commission of Union Territories on the topic of creating “Child Friendly Cities” a first of its kind in the country.
Various innovative initiatives taken by the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Education Department, schools of Chandigarh, NGO’s and civil Society were honored.

Women & Child Support Unit has also been selected as one of the best Child Friendly initiatives i.e. for Operation Muskaan and Swayam. Smt. Anjitha Chepyala DSP/W&CSU and Sh. Sukhdweep Singh Insp / AHTU received the honor.
