Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Anil Vij said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s last ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme of the year 2025 was broadcast today, during which he, as always, engaged meaningfully with the nation on several important information. He said that through every episode, the Prime Minister shares useful and inspiring information to make citizens more aware and informed.
Anil Vij was responding to questions from media persons after listening to and watching the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme. He said that in today’s episode, the Prime Minister laid special emphasis on the youth, appreciating their hard work, innovation, and achievements across various fields.
The Energy Minister said that the Prime Minister also highlighted the advisory issued by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), urging people to avoid the unnecessary use of antibiotics. He clarified that consuming antibiotics without proper medical tests and a doctor’s advice can lead to serious health problems in the future, as excessive use reduces the effectiveness of these medicines.
Vij further said that the Prime Minister placed special focus on the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. He said that in Haryana, the government is providing a grant of Rs. One lakh and 10 thousand for installing solar systems of up to 2 kilowatts, and the system can be installed at nearly the same cost. Once installed, households get almost complete relief from electricity bills. He appealed to all eligible citizens to avail the benefits of this scheme.
In addition, the Prime Minister also referred to historical evidence from archaeological excavations in Srinagar, remains of which are preserved in France, indicating the existence of a civilization dating back nearly 2,000 years.
