A delegation of representatives of various organizations under the banner of All Contractual Employees Union India, UT Chandigarh, led by former BJP, Chandigarh State President Arun Sood, presented their problems before the Governor of Punjab and Chandigarh Administrator Shri Gulab Chand Kataria.
On this occasion, Arun Sood and the delegation discussed in detail with Chandigarh Administrator Shri Gulab Chand Kataria on the issues of smooth running of private primary and secondary schools located in villages, job security of contract and outsourcing employees, merging 17 lower division clerks working in the electricity department into common cadre, problems of Ola-Uber cab driver union, congratulations to the nominated councilor on becoming the director of Chandigarh Cooperative Bank, etc.
Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria assured quick action on the problems of the delegation.
Apart from Arun Sood, the delegation that came to meet the Chandigarh Administrator included Satinder Singh Sidhu, Bipin Sher Singh, Balwinder Singh, Nishant, Sumit Chhabra etc.

A terminal at London’s Gatwick Airport has been evacuated due to a security threat. “Safety and security of our passengers and staff remains our top priority. Congress wins all 3 seats in Karnatka by-polls
Congress candidates registered wins on all three seats which went for by-polls in Karnatka. Pathan Yasirahmedkhan won from Shiggaonwith margin of 13,448 votes, defeating BJP’s Bharath Bommai, E Annapoorna won from Sandur with margin of 9,649 votes defeating BJP’s Bangara Hanumantha. CP Yogeeshwara won from Channapatna with margin of 25,413 votes defeating HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
