The brutal action of Police in Tis Hazari Court, New Delhi against advocates is completely beyond tolerance of the Bar. We demand from the higher official of Delhi Police to immediately arrest the culprits, put them under suspension failing which the situation will go beyond the control of the Government. The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana strongly condemns this action of the police as a result of which lawyers have been seriously injured by the police firing on a petty issued of car-parking . This proved the irresponsible and criminal behavior of the Delhi Police.
The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana requested the authorized to provide the best medical treatment to the injured lawyers and requested to His Excellency Lt. Governor and Police Commissioner of Delhi to immediately lodge FIR and arrest the guilty policemen.
