TiE Global Leadership Summit 2025 Concludes in Chandigarh

The TiE Global Leadership Summit 2025 concluded at The Lalit, Chandigarh, with leadership teams from 32 TiE chapters across India and the Asia-Pacific region coming together in a landmark gathering. The two-day summit served as a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to collaborate and strengthen the global startup ecosystem.

The summit was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, and Guest of Honour Aseem Goyal, Ex-Minister, Haryana Government. Both leaders commended TiE Chandigarh’s efforts in fostering entrepreneurship and assured full government support to strengthen innovation in the region.

In his keynote address, Mr. Murali Bukkapatnam, TiE Global Chair, called the summit “a tryst with TiE’s destiny: reimagining our future together.” He unveiled an ambitious roadmap to expand TiE to 100 chapters worldwide this year, urging leaders to transform their role “from heads of chapters to builders of entrepreneurial legacies.”

He emphasized TiE’s five pillars — Mentoring, Networking, Education, Incubation, and Funding — as the foundation of this transformation. Stressing that Asia’s rise in entrepreneurship is “not imminent — it is here and now,” he added:

“If we align, we amplify. If we collaborate, we create. You are not just dots on a map — you are engines of entrepreneurial destiny.”

Welcoming global leaders, Mr. Puneet Verma, President, TiE Chandigarh, expressed gratitude to TiE Global for hosting the summit in Chandigarh. He announced several key initiatives, launch of a Satellite Office in Ludhiana, sparking demand for similar offices in North India, driving momentum for the creation of a TiE Haryana Chapter, becoming the first chapter after TiE Chennai to launch the Personal Board Program.

He also introduced Mentorship Framework by Past President Ajay Tiwari, to be shared with other chapters and announced TiE Cricket League (Oct 2025) to promote networking, collaboration, and leadership.

Verma remarked: “The participation of 32 chapters proves TiE’s strength as a global entrepreneurial network. This summit will greatly benefit Chandigarh and North India in the years ahead.”

The second day featured Chapter Commitment Circles, World Café discussions, and an exclusive Cross-Chapter Charter Member Networking Roundtable. The sessions enabled deeper collaboration and exchange of best practices, reinforcing TiE’s role as a global movement shaping entrepreneurship.

The summit concluded with a collective reaffirmation of TiE’s commitment to build a stronger, more impactful ecosystem for entrepreneurs worldwide.
