Besides this, taking serious note of a complaint regarding the registration of a piece of land in Sector-17, Jagadhri, Vij directed that an FIR be lodged against the concerned Municipal Corporation Assistant Engineer Deepak Sukhija and ordered his immediate arrest.
Anil Vij was chairing the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting in Yamunanagar. During the meeting, 15 pre-listed complaints were presented, out of which 7 cases were resolved on the spot, while directions were issued to resolve the remaining complaints before the next meeting on a priority basis.
During the meeting, a complaint was submitted by Mahendra Taneja, a resident of HSVP Sector-17, Jagadhri, alleging that a property ID had been wrongly approved and a land registry had been carried out illegally. Taking the issue seriously, Energy Minister Anil Vij directed the Municipal Commissioner to register an FIR against the concerned Assistant Engineer Deepak Sukhija. He also instructed the Superintendent of Police to ensure his arrest despite his transfer from the concerned post.

He also directed that cases be registered against the registrars who carried out the registrations during the relevant period.
In another matter, regarding a complaint by Anil Kumar of village Lawana seeking the arrest of accused persons, Vij instructed police officials to record statements in the presence of the village Sarpanch, councillors and respected local persons to ensure impartial action. Similarly, on a complaint by Rajendra Kumar of village Devdhar regarding inaction in a crop theft case, Vij directed the SDM and DSP to conduct a joint inquiry and satisfy the complainant. In another matter concerning pending payment for government pond construction work, the concerned officials assured that the outstanding payment would be released within one month. On a complaint regarding illegal encroachment by Rud Singh of Laldwara Colony, the Minister ordered demarcation of the land and submission of a detailed report. In a case related to fake cylinder entries and black marketing by a gas agency, Vij ordered the formation of a joint committee under the chairmanship of the Additional Deputy Commissioner to thoroughly investigate the entire record of the agency.
Several public grievances were also resolved during the meeting. The sewerage issue in Madhuban Colony was resolved immediately, while directions were issued to inspect and seal, if required, a factory allegedly causing pollution in Chuharpur Kalan. Information was also shared that the drinking water pipeline work in village Fatehpur had been completed, and the work of installing speed breakers in village Rasoolpur would be completed by June 30.

He reiterated that the Haryana Government is fully committed to public welfare and follows a zero-tolerance policy against corruption, illegal encroachments and administrative irregularities.
After the meeting, while interacting with the media, Anil Vij said that the District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting in Yamunanagar will now be held on the last Friday of every month at 12:00 noon so that complainants are aware of the schedule and all concerned officers can ensure their presence.
